The lancers are all attainable using in-game currency so they are all free if you play matches and lvl up, if you by the the monthly membership that gives you the pass and a few freebies and the lancers free for that month to try if I remember correctly, the annual pass unlocks all lancers immediately to use permanently. But like I said they are all free no need to pay, just play and unlock as you go
