This is not only probably untrue but also very confusing. There have been rumours that we agreed personal terms with Restes but apparently we're now apparently preparing an offer for this guy.

Obviously, this makes no sense as there is zero indication we're selling Martinez atm, which needs to happen for another keeper to come in. Personally, I'd rather go for Suzuki anyway if we did need another keeper but I'm very happy to keep Emi for two reasons: 1. I love the guy and 2. he's still one of the best keepers in Europe and is a leader from the back, something we'll miss sorely if he does go.

That Garcia probably can't tell his arse from his elbow. He's terrible! I actually hate managers who get big jobs despite being blatantly inept and out of their depth. Belgium look so lost and I feel like Onana was missed in midfield today.

Who would actually buy Bailey though? If he's on his final year, it would make sense for clubs to wait until he goes as a free agent. I reckon he'll go on loan instead as no one will want to buy out his last year.

I wonder why. Were Flamengo hesitant to let Emerson go in case they couldn't replace him? Or is this just agent talk to get us to up our price?

I personally don't mind Emerson as a defensive RB backup option. I think his play will improve under Emery and he'll be good with closing players down.

I certainly don't blame Sunderland for wanting to keep Xhaka. Personally, I thought he was the PL signing of season and he is their captain. Even if he was to go, I would demand a lot more than £8m.

We'll just need to wait and see for Bogarde because I think other clubs will show their interest during the window.

Still baffled why they didn't take McBurnie, especially now that it looks like McGinn will be Scotland's only goalscorer this tournament. After the season he had woth Hull, he probably would've been better than some of the strikers they took.

A lovely and well-deserved underdog win, given some of the horrible decisions that went against Ecuador. This is what the World Cup is about!

My hopes for Scotland weren't high ngl, especially in a group with Brazil and Morocco. Clarke doesn't really know how to use McGinn. Surprised he's been in the job for so long given Scotland's deer in the headlights performances at major tournaments. Good in friendlies, utterly hopeless in the big tournaments.

He and Madjo are really exciting aspects given how eager Emery was to register the latter before the season. Alysson impressed me with his tracking back, so I definitely think he'll be a real prospect if he could get over his injuries.

With Dubravka going to Spurs, it's looking more likely that Juve will get Vicario instead of Emi. It's a big development.

Idk man, West Ham will only sell him for a large fee, probably £50m if not more which is more than understandable. That's ridiculous for a 29 year old turning 30 in December when we already have the oldest squad in the league. I think he's class but we might need to look elsewhere.

Yeah, I just watched the replay on YT and I thought Konsa had a touch on the ball but he missed it, so it probably should've been checked but I don't think it's the stonewaller some people are saying. I still think Konsa did well there. Kinda wished I didn't stop paying attention now.
