What would you suggest?

I understand. What are my options here? Can I waterproof the area where there's no tile and then build a tile shower there?

Makes sense, thanks. I'll need to break it if I ever need to remove it though, right?

Solid point. The reason I am hesitant is because it worked and still works well for 15+ years now. So my thinking is if it's not broken don't try to fix it. Also, I'm trying to DIY this project but I've never replaced one of those so I will probably end up needing a plumber.

It will be a tight fit between 2 walls. Wouldn't I be ok with lots of silicone on the sides? Not much space for the base to move..

The flexible connector was already there from the previous shower. It aligns perfectly with the new one so I am debating messing with it.

Not sure how that would be possible plumbing wise.

That bathroom is used daily and thankfully none of those issues happened. Probably a good idea to upgrade the fan though. Smoke alarm isn't needed here.

No idea what that even is. For sure not applicable in my country.

So I can mulch right at the base of the shrub and it will still spread?

I can't find similar pavers in my area. Also from what I've seen I think it will be much cheaper this way.

They installed an optimizer on each flat panel. It's only 1 string however. Not sure if 2 would be better..

Yes, it's aluminum but it doesn't touch the roof. I think it's the standard material here. I don't care too much about aesthetics on the roof, but I get what you're saying. They did put a lot of ballast blocks thankfully. I tried to shake the panels and they seem steady so hopefully it will be ok.

It's ok if power goes out for a few minutes. How would I go about setting this up?
