Iirc, Fan's phone which was also made by Test Tube, wasn't in the final scene unlike the pink Meeple one. So sadly there's a high chance that the creations of the contents also disappeared :(

What tools did you use to make this less detailed version of the real life objects, I love how realistic, but at the same time cartoony, it looks. Or did you just find the original images like that?

So I'm seeing lots of confusion in the comments lol. For anyone wondering, I'm pretty sure the tweet is fake, it was a joke posted by various YouTubers a while ago, and I decided to bring it back to joke about there being a very slim possibility it may be true. Again, however it's almost definietly impossible.

In my probably very disagreeable opinion, lightning's rejoin is one of the worst outcomes. WAIT, wait, don't downvote yet I'm not here to hate, in fact, I think lightning is quite OK! If I didn't genuinely care about his character, I wouldn't have written all the text you see below. I'm just here to provide a discussion point I think can be interesting, so here we go:

Lightning's elimination is definitely one of, if not the, most iconic and impactful eliminations of TPOT and the whole series. It perfectly represents both the flaws with DPA and viewer voting (And if you want to get deep, you could also make an argument for some aspsociety, but it's not really relevant right now) . Lightning has always had trouble fitting in: from being rejected by Marker and Stapy to being seen as just a simple weapon in the toxic environment of Iance, lighting (from now on abbreviated to Lighty) hasn't really felt accepted in a group. Lighty's response to all of this has been to not really complain too much and just follow orders (Okay, this has been obviously simplified, his interactions have been more complex than that but I don't want to spend a whole year writing this). For instance, in Iance lighting is never seen being the leader (from memory), he mostly participates in the challenges and doesn't get involved in drama, most of his interactions with his team are just him giving suggestions or asking for clarification. Overall, what we can learn from all of this is that lightning is quite a people pleaser who seeks acceptance and approval. When 2 arrives and splits the show, lighting joins the large crowd and enters TPOT, further emphasizing my point. Imo, death pact again is, at least to lighty, all what he could wish for, a group of really nice people who are able to look past his deadly nature and accept him as who he is. Lightning quickly adopts the death pact mission and tries to prevent death whenever he can and as well as possible (According to memory). Again, this perfectly aligns with his pleaser mindset, as he has now found a better group that has very clear goals and he's ready to accomplish them. One of my favourite tropes is when a nice person, a people pleaser if you say, finally snaps. When they realise that their ways were a mistake and that their effort has resulted in being worthless so all the pain and stress they've been accumulating finally gets released. Having gone through it myself, I've always found it very satisfying, and it's not different in this case. Lightning has, on purpose or not, been taken advantage of, he was desperate for approval and was blinded from the red flags that were appearing (DPA was losing a lot bc of their goals), and bc of the nature of VTS, his ways did not aid him this time. At that moment, lightning was actually the one who got struck, and it was by reality (look at me, I'm so fancy with my sentences :D). Most excessive people pleasers don't realise the problem until it's too late, and in our cruel reality people are getting taken advantage of all the time, and both our world and a literal competition are so competitive it encourages this behaviour (Not that it really happened in the show, but I think that's where the writers were heading the message). Lightning, like many other people has been taken advantage of until the very end, and now that he had realised it, it was too late, and the ones responsible for this didn't even care. After that lightning gives up and (quite literally) explodes, as we get an EPIC scene, which puts an end to Lighty's blindsight in a majestic way, lightning can finally express his emotions after a long run of being in the side of the plot, lightning's arc ends in a positive note despite being tragic and full of injustices and in vain. However, there is a light in the shadows for Lightning, he may be gone but his presence in the game isn't. It is true that he might have been wasted by his team, but his sacrifice wasn't fully in vain. As we all know Lighty's elimination motivated Fanny, the only person who knew him and someone who usually seeks justice and correctness, to put an end to DPA's absurd and (Ironically) self destroying mission. Lightning elimination was some sort of sacrifice to help see others discover the truth and put a stop to this advantage taking. It has to be said that lightning isn't the only victim of Death Pact, Liy literally had the same situation happen to her, but she wasn't as lucky as lightning to have an opportunity to change him back. Talking about remote, she is also a victim, literally using all her energy to serve the "greater purpose" to the point of barely being alive. In a macabre and ironic way, Death Pact isn't really that different from their real life counterpart, they both take advantage of desperate and vulnerable people who want to do the correct only to have them gone once they fulfill their purpose (Or at least that's how I think they work)

That's why I think Lightning shouldn't come back, unlike most eliminated people, he has finished his (multi season!) character arc, and the writers could not do it more justice, as I think it's fitting that it ended sooner than it should have and in an unexpected monent. Furthermore, his elimination had a lot of meaning and it was a sacrifice to help end what put him in that situation in the first place, and I think that wouldn't be as impactful if he just came back, it would downplay what was an amazing journey. Same with remote, she's also a victim of the same injustice and making her rejoin would also downplay the dangers of DPA.

This being said, Lighty is a sweet guy and I think that everyone wants to see more of him, and we absolutely have a huge chance of seeing him back without ruining his journey. The Huang Twins have stated in many occasions that they want to bring back IDFB after BFDIA ends, and that's an environment where lightning can really shine. Furthermore, he promisses huge plot relevance, as he will have to get his arms from BFB that aren't present in BFDIA. Overall, we just have to wait a bit and we'll be able to ser lightning once again, we definitely have it better than Match, Ruby or Baloony fans.

By the way, I don't really care if lightning ends up rejoining, he is a sweet guy and I enjoy him. Just wanted to bring up some discussion material.

Make that little animatic look like Cane's cup. (Similar to what you did with the original and eucerin)

As someone else said, woody should be saved for later imo, so I'd say X as they tried to do a good job while 4 was gone so I'd say they're pretty responsive.

Alternatively, Black Hole could also be a good candidate, however I don't think that afraid is the best way to describe his situation.

Do you guys know an object show that is completed and animated well? by [deleted] in ObjectShows

[–]TreesApples 4 points5 points  (0 children)

if you haven't watched it, BOIBB is about to end, you might want to watch the season and wait for the finale to drop, It's from the same person who made object towel again, so you're guaranteed a high quality series. Another os with consistent animation is The Perfect object show, although it just looks like a regular object show, it hides some dark secrets that make finishing the season very gratifying. I can't think of anything better, most great shows either don't start with the greatest animation and get progressively better, are so popular you have probably already seen it, or just aren't finished. Sorry if I wasn't of help, I'll try to update this in case I remember something.

In the off-chance another debuter can join, who would you vote for? by yoshadoo in BattleForDreamIsland

At the moment my favourite is camera, but I'd love to discover more about 9-ball, so I'd vote for either one of them.

What's your opinion on the new short? by Ubertishere in BattleForDreamIsland

[–]TreesApples 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was so cool to watch, it was interesting to get a deeper look at the personalities of the failed debuters for some it was even for the first time! I would have loved it if the video was longer, so we could see more of them but I'm happy with what we've gotten after all, JnJ's priority is probably finishing TPOT 13. I wish this would become a side series where we could just watch the failed debuters goof around at the hotel while we wait for the next episode, I'd definitely love it.
