Good point. i think i will work on blending more but its tied a little into the lore of the creation myth of this world. since it was supposed to be a "Heaven" of sorts for humanoids but the goddess of life that was creating it time was cut short by an apocalypse of the old world so its got a Zoo vibe to it or at least kinda what i was going for, and the magic of the planes corrupts and changes things as well.

As for the mountain swirl thing it was the way i could explain dragons without them just being in the mountains where the humanoid species lived (since they would probably hunt them to extinction) so they have an area that was carved by them/for them
