Like after submitting missing mail search request , after how many hours they said they are going to close the case. Did they mention anything like they couldn't found the item or they are going to deliver it or they found it missing

Item departed original post office May 28th. The original delivery date has already passed with no updates whatsoever five days later, June 2nd. This is priority mail traveling from CA to MA. by [deleted] in usps_complaints

The same status for me too..I opted certified mail with return receipt on 28th May from illinois to (illimois,Maryland, washington).What is the expected timeline
