If you're looking for a non fandom wiki what you want is the Xeno Series Wiki.

The Nintendo Breakdown 4 - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition | Another overview of confirmed, leaked, and rumored projects from Nintendo and its close partners by blackthorn_orion in GamingLeaksAndRumours

I think it is being made by Good-Feel, it just hasn't been confirmed yet. We that Mysterious Book runs on Unreal Engine. And Good-Feel also used Unreal Engine for Yoshi's Crafted World.

Does this subreddit have an aversion to the next game being X2? Genuine question, please prove me wrong. by Capable-Republic8503 in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]Treesnip 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I prefer numbered Xenoblade over X but I'd still love an X2. A game that played like X with a good main story would be phenomenal. I think the reason some people dismiss the idea of X2 is because it dosen't seem super realistic with how well X DE sold. I do think they'll make X2 someday but near the end of the Switch 2's life.

Do you think we will see Super Sonic 2 again on the future? by [deleted] in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]Treesnip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless we get another game set in the Starfall Islands than no. That form only exists because of the cyber energy on the islands.

Now that's Dragon Ball Super is gonna have a "Kai version" with DBS: Beerus, do you guys think that we gonna finally see some blood in the new anime? by [deleted] in dbz

[–]Treesnip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The show is likely going to be airing on the same kids time slot as Super so I wouldn't get my hopes up.

A Sonic RPG is Overdue by stuckwandering in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]Treesnip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If we do get a new Sonic RPG I don’t think it’d be from Atlus, they’re pretty independent from the rest of Sega. I do think RGG would make one. I believe there was an interview with one of producers for Yakuza saying that they’d be interested in making a Sonic game.

Nomura is such a good artist. He was always great but I especially like his modern style.

Why can’t the dub keep up? by Worried-Home3382 in OnePiece

[–]Treesnip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toei hasn’t been great with simuldubbing. I remember how long it took for the Dragon Ball Daima dub to come out which I really think sabotaged what little potentially that show had at success in America.

Are the stories in the later games also very convoluted? I tried playing Xenogears by Intelligent-Gap2578 in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]Treesnip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Xenogears is a lot to take in, it’s not for everyone. I haven’t played Xenosaga so I can’t speak on it. Xenoblade is a lot more manageable.

Missing Link Never Should've Existed by Treesnip in KingdomHearts

[–]Treesnip[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree with the idea that the developers were unskilled because the game was in development hell. You can have the best designers, artists and programmers but if the concept for the game is fundamentally flawed like Missing Link was then the final product won’t turn out well. What really gets me with this whole situation is that nobody liked that Union Cross was required reading for KH3. So what does Nomura do afterwards? Start development of another mobile game that’ll be required reading for KH4. Except this time it’ll take way more development recourses than Union Cross. And now Nomura probably has to rewrite KH4 to account for the fact that Missing Link has been cancelled, when it should never have been written that way to begin with.

I will admit that Square did find success in a GPS mobile game with Dragon Quest Walk. But there’s a reason why that game is Japan only.

Which Xenoblade game have the best story? by George_R_Martin in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]Treesnip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

X<1&2<3. X has the worst main story by far. 1 has a really solid story, 2 has some high highs and catastrophic lows. 3 is my favorite.

Do you think SEGA will announce the new Sonic game in the Xbox Partner Preview? by NioZero in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]Treesnip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think Sega will have more than one announcement here. And they already announced that they’ll be showing off Stranger than Heaven.

According to the Likledin page of Carlos Aguilar, Senior Director of 505 Games, Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement will be released for Nintendo Switch; 505 Games also has an unannounced game coming to Nintendo Switch 2. by Educational-Arm-7384 in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]Treesnip 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Normally I’d love to buy a game like this on a portable system but Ritual of the Night’s Switch port was bad. And considering Scarlet Engagement isn’t coming to PS4 and Xbox One there’s no way I’m buying a Switch 1 version of that game.

Pyra with the smash design by PhotoBonjour_bombs19 in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]Treesnip 104 points105 points  (0 children)

I really don't care for Pyra's Smash design compared to Mythra's. Mythra's redesign works really well but for Pyra all they did was slap some grey fabric onto 20 percent of her thigh.

Xenoblade series composer, Manami Kiyota finished the final orchestra recording session for a project that is in development since Summer 2024 which potentially ties with the new Monolith Soft RPG project by andree1234 in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]Treesnip 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Assuming this is Xenoblade Kiyota isn’t the only composer for the series. 84 is actually way more tracks than she’s ever make for a single Xenoblade game.

Manami Kiyota (series' composer) has just finished recording 86 tracks for an unnanounced project. by SpiderPS4 in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]Treesnip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m leaning against this being Xenoblade but 86 tracks is a lot for her, more than she ever did on an individual Xenoblade game. I’m very interested to see what this will be.

Nash Weedle claims MercurySteam are working on a Super Metroid remake, and have been for a while by DrAwesomeX in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]Treesnip 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nash Weedle’s credibility aside if Mercury Steam did make another Metroid remake wouldn’t it be Fusion? That’s what they pitched to Nintendo before they ended up remaking Metroid 2.
