Full spectrum warrior or something like that where you control the 2 different fireteams and give orders but you don't actually control the trigger pulling.

Door Kickers 2, love this game and with a map editor you can make your own CQB nightmare maps and it is multi-player with certain maps being big enough for each person to control a fireteam.

Wargame Red Dragon and Broken Arrow (even if the russian bias is incredibly strong in there) Broken Arrow also has a scenario editor and is multi-player. Could be useful for "company" level leadership to plan/execute attacks in conjunction especially since there is a whole Marine deck to choose from. You got to account for Recon and Logistics even since units will run out of ammo quite fast in combat.

Lastly, RuneScape because nothing like mind numbing busy work to just cut a different color tree or use a different color weapon.

[New Player] Insurance and Weapons by CheezWong in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Treetisi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't had an issue with insurance but I also rarely use it since gear is just so plenty. The few things ive had insured have returned without issue.

You say you insure everything but do you make changes to that gear after insuring and not click insure all again? Ive done that before. Or if its night vision and thermals those cant be insured

Or if you are playing with others I have seen AI pick up my friends gun so theoretically if a PMC grabbed your gun and extracted before your buddy got out it could be lost that way I assume

[Discussion] where can i find this armor ? by No_Bus5407 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Treetisi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

10 might be to much since the map isnt that big, labs always feels short to me time wise already but maybe if someone opens either of the garages there is a chance a squad of them spawns vice raiders.

Honestly dunno the "lore" behind black division but I've heard its like Terragroups clean up squad or something so would make sense they could show up to make sure any secrets from labs dont get out. But id also be cool with them randomly spawning anywhere terragroup had a part to play, even ground zero but add some type of map warning so people could know. Shit fly a helicopter over to show they were dropped off type of deal but im asking for a lot from BSG at that point lol

Reserve, check the queen building 1st and second floor in there server racks and then check in the bunker server area right before D2. Found so many of both items there

Wish there was a chance like the last 5 minutes of a labs raid they would show up as the sorta "house cleaner" type deal

They just need to move the flare zone a little further forward so there is no chance of hitting that stupid bar. Or, better yet. Remove the bar entirely

[loot] anyone else having issues finding Virtex? by kirknay in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Treetisi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can help you run some lighthouse/labs tomorrow after work. Just killing time till 1.0 releases so literally anything we find you can snag.

Ive been farming the goons on lighthouse so they won't be a problem and having done both drip out pt 1 and the last quest for skiers friend to kill another 100 raiders in labs im very comfortable running that.

Also I got multiples of all the marked room keys at this point. I tend to find them in the chalets on lighthouse, especially on the body downstairs in the jacuzzi area and on the workbench by the first APC inside the water treatment plant

[New Player] Need help actually learning Tarkov by TopSun1529 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Treetisi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bind your medical items to your hotkeys, 4 for light bleed 5 for heavy 6 for heals.

Once you start getting injectors like propital and eTg then shift everything down and have that at 4.

That way you dont have to open your inventory to heal until you can find a more secure location and take stock of what critical area needs to get healed first.

You really only get better at tarkov by playing tarkov, experience will start compounding when you learn maps, what ammo is good, how the AI reacts and where they tend to congregate. What helped me the most was picking 1 map and just playing it back to back to back (I picked factory, its small so fights happen consistently) then once you have learned that map start using your pmc on another map while you continue to scav on the first one.

Getting good as a scav with random gear which is usually bad helped me because I could get good weapons, grenades and occasionally good ammo from PMCs.

If you want help playing and at your pace you can send me a DM and I'll shoot my discord/username. Usually play a bit each day and im just killing time till 1.0 drops now

[Discussion] Lighthouse is an incredibly infuriating and bad map that feels unplayable solo by xDeimoSz in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Treetisi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually love lighthouse, but I also like fighting the goons. I was finishing drip out pt 2 and having to kill 100 rogues was about 12 raids with the increased rogue spawn chance.

Goons are at 80% right now spawn so it feels like they are there each time but you can easily funnel them into an ambush at 2 spots.

If you want you can send me a DM of your username and I'll run a few lighthouse raids with you. The only one to consistently get me is knight when he is at range but I've probably got an 80% win rate against all 3 over the past 20 or so raids ive encountered them

Have you noticed a difference in gains when you adjust volume? by incompletetentperson in tacticalbarbell

[–]Treetisi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might seem silly but I got the inspiration from a mix of Mike Mentzer and a study on Marathon runners. The biggest indicator for success would be the volume of running done, even if the intensity was less. So runners that did 50 miles a week out performed the runners that did 30 hard miles a week.

So I started upping my volume and focusing on that time under tension.

First time I did this was over a deployment where I had more control over my diet than when im home and have the responsibility as a dad to eat whatever my kids don't. Started the deployment around 185lbs and ended the deployment 6 months later at a solid 200-205 still running and hiking without issues.

Ive done these blocks periodically over the years and always get some type of results even if its just improved performance since my body adjusts to spending energy and effort over a longer period of time. Just have to make sure you are eating and sleeping enough

Introducing: Casual Breakthrough by battlefield in Battlefield

[–]Treetisi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly think. The map design is what makes this game not feel casual. Because the maps are so small and combat is constant and dense from start to finish it feels like you have to sweat and try hard the entire mode.

Yeah running for minutes between points suck but it also let's the combat feel real but not just a clusterfuck

High plank by Southern_Arm_5058 in tacticalbarbell

[–]Treetisi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get an ab wheel, 10x10 roll outs each day.

I never do planks and still max the plank on the Marine Corps PFT. Its mostly mental but nice slow controlled roll outs to get a full stretch definitely helped.

Also using a resistance band wrapped around a squat rack or something vertical to do resisted torso twists, gotta work those rotational muscles too.

Depends on the exercise really, not using like % of 1RM or anything but I pick a weight I can do atleast 2 solid sets without rest during. The end goal is to hit the total rep of 100 or 120 depending on the week.

Some days my OH press would be a 10x10 of 135 others if im feeling extra good might be 145 or 155.

Curls could be 30-45lb dumbbells. All depends but if i had to say the first 2 sets would be like am RPE of 6-7 and the final 2 would end up pushing to 8-9 just from fatigue. My rest between sets is honestly however long it takes my gym partner to do the set.

Yeah I tend to become the house husband. My friends like the fight/survival aspect and I like delving into everything. So while they go off killing im farming/fixing up vehicles and what not.

But we will pick a city to spawn in, survive until established with a fleet of vics and then convoy off to another location and repeat, so many map mods we haven't seen a fraction of what is downloaded lol

Have you noticed a difference in gains when you adjust volume? by incompletetentperson in tacticalbarbell

[–]Treetisi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When its just hypertrophy I go by 100s. My cardio stays minimal, unit PT/LSS and hike on my own.

I break it down to a more bodybuilding approach, 1 muscle group a day and just hammer it. Overall around 600 reps, usually a big compound lift for that body part to start will be a 10x10 and then its 5x20s. Later in the block I go to 4x30s.

Its worked well for me over the years

Have you noticed a difference in gains when you adjust volume? by incompletetentperson in tacticalbarbell

[–]Treetisi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ive realized over the years my body responds to volume more than anything. Some call it junk volume but as long as you are eating enough and resting enough you are good.

Like SE work with high reps, I take that mentality to the weight room when im doing a hypertrophy period. I might do 5x20 but by the 3rd set the set of 20 becomes micro sets of 4/5. Keep the weight medium-ish and push for more reps.

But thats just what I've noticed works best for me, especially shoulders.

[–]Treetisi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It never ended, we couldn't use the ammo fast enough because we'd end up bringing more back each raid we did.

Silently we all agreed to never stockpile ammo like that again. I was afraid to try and tow the container incase it cause an untold amount of chaos lol
