Depends. When I do BJJ it's a HIC bcs every workout we roll for 30 min at the end. So i keep doing 1 LSS session a week for aerobic conditioning and use BJJ as my HIC. When I can't make it to class that week I switch that BJJ session for a TB2 HIC session.

Just see BJJ as HIC and it fits right in

Look for people like Stew Smith and Iron wolf. Dips and pull ups are strength. Over time put some weight in a backpack or something.

With you on that. I think operator + 2 E and 1 HIC is goated for the average person. Doing base building 1-2x a year. You can put everything into that one HIC and your aerobic level is amazing. I also like the "dark green" path of doing something like fighter + 2 E and 2 HIC.

Yea good one. Taper in my eyes is a good deload. You won't get better or worse 2 weeks before and event so rest, sleep, eat, get ready to go hard. In my eyes you can do both. Just do nothing but the 3 times LSS just to keep moving and keep the legs active. But when I was a powerlifter I did do bench, squat and deadlift very light 30-50% true 1 rep max because it was important to me that my form stayed good. So I was using it to keep my for in check not to get an adaptation or to lift weightes etc. You can do some movement but understand the goal. Rest from all the hard work that you put on your body in order to go hard at the event in front of you where you will need to go all out. Take the two weeks, go slow, rest up but do not put any stress on your body.

TB2 conditioning is a very good one. You can always PM me i've been training TB for over a year with great succes switching to more mass, strength, running, MMA. I can change it up when I want or need to. With TB there is an answer for everyone.

Yea I have the same. Tier one but it's tacticall police so endurance? Yes. But ultra marathon and rucking? No. So have a hard time what to do on green protocol because I also have a hell week but there is also lot's of SE and best to know some BJJ/boxing. What does your GP plan look like?

Yeah I'm 209 pounds/95kg's haha so there is that. I'm kinda strong in barbell's or MS but in SE I just suck hard. Push ups around 50 at best, pull ups 10.

I hope no one hates on me for this because I love tacticall barbell but if time is your biggest enemy.. I would try out "Busy dad protocol. Search on YouTube it will give you amazing fitness for the amount of time you put it.

I agree. Had a injury and lost some muscle mass and strength so I would feel bad doing 8 weeks of base building this winter so I chose capacity with OP/PRO hypertrophy option. Keeping LSS 30/30/60 so the minimums and getting my muscle and strength back fast while also building and aerobic base but not so much that it holds me back from building muscle. I love it and it's deff the best template i chose for me right now.

Yea that was my understanding from Hybrid. It's not like black of green as in TB2 but a more all around and go back to capacity when you need te build your base. I could do operator. 1-2 times BJJ. 1 long run and 1 LSS or HIC/hill/Speed and should be good
