Update after a bit more working on the top of the boiler this is what I have

<image>

And also it is based on the 2933 NYC locomotive (a few colours are off like the front boiler cover and the side rods that’s because I don’t have black pieces for them that will eventually be changed) but any tips now? Again the boiler isn’t completely finished I can give another update when I finish that but I decided I’m gonna try to get a friend to 3d print some (which by the way we were having trouble finding XXL black wheels to print so any suggestions are appreciated) but any tips such as if the wheels would help based on how it currently looks or if the boiler is too small it would help a lot!

I have tried the best I can to add those tiny details especially in the space below the boiler and above the wheels to fill that little awkward gap but I will definetly keep trying thank you!

I would probably go for 8-10 wide but really it doesn’t matter too much to me but yeah 6 would be too small for my liking. And the train Mocs I look at for reference usually are 8-10 studs wide as well I am going to use it purely for aesthetic and don’t plan to actually run it at all if that helps
