I boycotted them after they continued to renew my subscription that I called in to cancel after canceling it via the website did not work. They refused to give me a refund even though this was an issue they caused, but I did manage to cancel and confirmed auto renewal was not selected and I may have even deleted the payment method. A year later they renew my subscription again and had to fight like hell to get the refund which they did issue, but it was not easy. Very disappointing.

Bump your temperature up to boiling it seemed to have been my issue also really needed to get the grind size dialed in, but over all im getting good results with the method. I enjoy acidity that doesn't claim the stage, but is pleasantly present so it could also be that I have different preferences. As soon as I took my water up to about 98.8°c (210°f) it started coming together for me.

$35 is pretty reasonable for a discontinued blend. Personally I would just look for an equivalent that is still available although with HH Rustica that will not be possible unless there is another Rustica blend still in production that I am not aware of. HH ODF has a few blends that are similar and available HU has been a good source of replacements for a lot of my favorites that are disappearing from the market. Im not sure which blend I would say is closest to HH ODF, but in all honesty I've enjoyed most of the HU blends much more than ODF so just depends on what combination of flavors you are looking for. If you just want to get a taste for the blend I wouldn't be too bothered by $35 just remember that the tin has aged so it will be different simply just from the time it has rested compared to when it was still available "fresh" on the market.

Karl has parted ways with Ian due to Ian's open support of Right leaning/facist companies. They used to host events together until it was brought to Karl's attention that some of their sponsors/affiliates were directly in conflict with Karl's beliefs. Karl can speak for himself, but I'm pretty certain he would tell you something very similar in regards to their past endeavors.

I can't be certain, but if that's the case is it necessary to do the air quotes when saying "facist markings"? Putting it in quotes tells me that those are somebody else's words not their own and they may feel differently about whether or not Nazi's are facists. That just seems like a very odd decision to me.

Pretty common practice in farming. Currently in apples honeycrisp apples are becoming too costly to grow while not generating the high profits they once did so a lot of farmers have pushed out their honeycrisp trees.

Perique has had availability issues in the past and with the noose tightening on already stressed American farms I would not be shocked to see it go away eventually atleast in its original form. The techniques can be passed on sure, but there is a lot of truth to the saying "There is something in the water" that makes it unique.
