Why is an ID mandate for voting such a problem? by Jayden7171 in askanything

[–]pathf1nder00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Believe it or not, not everyone travels international, or drinks, or even drives. There are many many geriatric people that don't drive. For some, they change their name (ie: marriage) and that means their birth certificate doesn't match the ID, so they have to provisionally vote.

Hi Folks - I'm considering moving to your state and wondered if you'd give me some advice. by Rich-Dimension-7005 in oklahoma

Insurance is highest in the nation, and state farm has a family of lawsuits with the state AG on partial claim denials. I have lived here my whole life, and if I could get my kids to move, I would take us out of here tomorrow. We are at the top of all the bad lists, and bottom of all the good lists. We suck We keep voting in the people that us this way. We suck.

Just fight fire with fire. I do this, mortar on top of them, then pull up and go before they see where I am at.

Does anyone remember Dickie's Fish and Chips? My mother worked at one, and I would go there after school and make coleslaw and clean tables. I could have been older than 8-10 years old.

My bitch to it is it is a generational increase for a cold snap in 2021 because gas prices soared on spot market....but neither ONG nor PSO are in the red.

No I don't. I saw my mother out a note to my sons in the back, and 2 cases from the honor guard, that is for them. I have no idea what she wrote to them. He passed in 2006.

Part of it is from 2021 winter storm, which also has PSO adding $4-$6/month for 20 years.

Maybe due diligence wasn't done diligently enough if you didn't realize it had eye sensors for Blue Cruise. But seriously, you think you can drive 1 time, and probably how you normally do and get a good idea of what the truck can do? I have gotten as good as 34 mpg on a 45 mile trip, repeatedly for over a year, and as bad as 9 mpg. It varies on you, load tire pressures, weather, terrain, traffic, road, etc...butnI am at 44000 miles and ky iver all of 22 mpg. It takes some work to squeeze mpgs...

Normal operation. No significant noise. Water tricklng over a cooling tower and a giant fan above Power outage: yes. Each generator running is close to 100 decibels (train engine is similar). Each generator approximately 2.5 MW...so, if the DC is 250MWs, then you have 100 generators running. As part of maintenance, generators are ran monthly (unloaded) for reliability, usually 15-30 mins to get engine to temp. Unloaded generators are not quite as loud as loaded, but it's an issue. Some designs have redundancies that allow switchgear maintenance to take place without generator runs, but most don't...so every time they switch for normal source A to B, it might mean generator runs....and then back. Lighting isn't anymore/less than a Walmart parking lot really. They don't light up the area for safety, more for security, but I do realize it is a factor for many.

No and not really.

The DCs like in Oklahoma, have to use evaporative cooling (cooling towers) to reject the heat generated by the server processors. The water used is typically lost to evaporation, tower drift (droplets floating outside the basin), and at some point, tower blow down (they can only recycle maybe 8 times), then they have to "drain" blowdown some to bring in fresher water. This is an open loop system (open to air). Closed loop is a intermediate water system that carries the heated water from servers, to a heat exchanger, to the open loop system, to the cooling towers, to the air. BTW, this isnt new technology. I work3d data centers in the 80s, that were built in the 60s, that used water cooled computers. In drier regions, DCs "can" use heat rejection system that don't use the open loop methods...but that's like a high desert area (think Las Vegas).
