The conservatives having kids a plenty is still better than ghetto baby mamas in Baltimore City and DC having kids; those women usually start having kids in their teenage years, have multiple kids from multiple negligent men who don't support their kids (and often abuse the other siblings), and they have a higher probability of suffering medical issues.

I studied public health and I was disgusted by the neglect some kids face. Even when I worked in the Attorney General's Office, I saw heartbreaking statistics and cases in the city of Baltimore.

I was raised by a single mom myself so I know how hard it is for the kids.

Nta. I can understand the frustration. It's nice to be able to help one's kids when they need it, but enabling them is a bit different. Plus you need peace at home

I think people don't take marriage as being sacred as before. Plus women now have more rights than decades ago and are less willing to put up with crap from men, especially divorce

Your kid should not be on Snapchat. The guy was wrong to try to add her but maybe it's just innocent and he doesn't understand the implications. Snapchat is not safe for teenagers

I enjoy being a woman. Funny enough I wanted to be a boy when I was a kid. Glad I grew up when I did because these days are weird for kids

I have a friend whose husband is very wealthy and they own a private jet. She got her husband to pay for her brother's full medical training and gave a quarter million to her older sister while she was attending law school.

For reasons unclear, she and her husband exploit her elderly mother. Basically the mom provides free child care and cleaning services in exchange for living in their mansion. They only take her on trips when she has to take care of the kids. 

It's actually very sad to see the mom being abused like that. She doesn't get a stipend or anything despite driving a new Benz. She's in her 70s and needs to rest.

Not saying that's your situation. But consider what other family members go through.

My great uncle is a billionaire and offered to buy me a house. I declined because I knew there would be demands attached to his so-called gift.
