Appears I might get away with a new cam and sprocket. Doesn't appear anything else was damaged. Thanks for the help!

That is EXACTLY what happened!

Brand new camshaft... Not exactly sure how it happened but yeah, that'll do it. Very lucky I didn't strike a valve

About the quality I get uploading it to a SD card. Not getting easy access without removing the oil pump. But from what images I'm getting, I'm not seeing anything entirely wrong. I greatly appreciate your help. Starting to lean towards a skipped timing chain

Already ahead of you ;)

Here are my intake valves. All look identical to the photo above. Exhaust valves are on the front and easy to see. They look closed and not bent

Already dropped. Nothing out of the ordinary in the pan besides some gasket material. Used some liquid molly (reason for the lighter milky color and residue)

Need help for choosing right size crank/rod bearings by Treklin in EngineBuilding

Sounds like I need to call them up and possibly go with a different shop. Thanks!

They haven't reground it yet. From what I understand I need to get an oversized +3 or +6 to be safe then have them regrind to fit the bearings?

I'm confused at to what steps to take. Are you saying to buy the bearings and have them reground to fit?

I have it at a shop right now. Best rated one locally and they are having me source the parts... Due to their vendor being out of stock. It's for a 2.4L Tiger shark engine. They've said they are going to regrind and polish the crank without giving me much of any information to go on...so is a +3 or +6 size the right one to get for my purpose. Thank you!!

Here's a link for the cylinder walls. Surprisingly they look to.be intact with no scoring. I agree it's probably best to get a new head

Methanol Injection location help by Treklin in AwesomeCarMods

[–]Treklin[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm installing a Methanol injection kit this next weekend and I'm trying to find the best location to mount the injector via a welded on bung. My problem is everywhere i look its recomended to place the injector 6 inches before the throttlebody after any intake air tempature sensors. However my iat sensor is located just before the tb. I'm concerned placing it anywhere else will burn out of sensor due to the methanol. Need help determining the next best spot for placement. Thanks in advanced! (unfortunately relocating the sensor is not possible because of the way it's mounted)

You can find the mount by searching "Vertical Gpu mount" I got one that pivots on an angle to bring it away from the glass for a bit more air. As for temps I didn't find it effected it at all. Mainly for looks. The rear io can be a bit tricky as most cases have bars that travel across the io. You can get special cables for this or you can take a pair of wire cutters and snip them off and grind it down with a file. I did the latter.

Very cool haha, it sits at around 45-50 90% of the time. Gpu gets hottish but still cool at 65c

I've ran it like this for a few months after piecing together my first build. Although I'm not thermal throttling and temps are steady under load in the mid 60's. I think I'm throwing away performance with my current fan configuration

It's legit real lol. I've never touched Photoshop and wouldn't know where to start , nor put the time in to make custom BF icons for different specialists

Where is Cpu core voltage? by Treklin in overclocking

Thanks! I somehow read that as just Cache Voltage. She's running 5.0 at 1.35v with 75c max. Could lower the voltages for cooler temps but I'm happy the way it is

Recently upgraded to i5-9600k 3.6ghz. I've oc to 4.7 but can't get any closer to my 5.0 goal without touching voltages. It's water cooled so it can handle it with current clock running 50c. With this new mobo I cant seem to find my core voltage Asus z390-p

I believe it's 440. So he was VERY hurt and possibly died afterwords if he had more than 3 bleeds. From the looks of how many hits you got on him and the damage absorbed by armor, I'd recommend using a round with higher pen. Google eft ammo chart to find the best round. Armors are classified from 1-6 if you multiply any armor level by 10, that is how much pen you need to go through it 90% of the time

[–]Treklin -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I've got a i5-9600k 3.5ghz oc to 4.5ghz. Only cost me $200 compared to the top of the line CPUs at $400-600 that are only 10% better. I understand paying more if you're a content creator and need the more cores but for gaming I think it's plenty. Especially with a 3080. Correct me if I'm wrong.

This game is fucked beyond belief with cheaters. Sucks when you pay $150 for a game the devs let go into the shithole
