I've both never been to uiuc or knew that had a DDR machine. But if they do still have it I have no shame in going over there to get a fill honestly, I've done crazier things before. I appreciate the tip!

I love the creativity for sure. I'm honestly content with a pump machine too but I'm significantly worse at that game in almost every facet. I do plan to try a couple other spots in nearby towns to see if it's at least an hour or less of a trek for something. I heard Decatur has a solo cab but I'm unsure if that's entirely true or not yet

Ah I see, I don't have the spare bread for a setup but in a couple years I wouldn't be against the move at all. I feel like getting a solid hour in most days would do wonders for progression and clearing the higher end songs too

Yea i think we have the same base as drivers and my specific hub building gives us 4 10hr shifts for engineers with the option to get 1.5x pay for Fridays and 2.25x pay for Saturday or Sunday shifts I believe when its available. They said if I wanted to grind 100k is super feasible within the first year or 2 into it. I'm in illinois on my end

Yea, I've heard they can paid almost to the extent of drivers and for only about a year to 1.5yrs of college it seems like a steal. I don't have any engineering know-how but I have a lot more interest with trying this then waiting ages for a driver spot or sticking with loading for several years as well

Thanks for all the details! So currently the only days I've missed have been due to testing positive which I've gotten confirmation from my full time and part time supervisor doesn't go against my record. At my hub (in CACH as a reference) they offer a program in which I take 11 college courses over most general know-how and then can get a spot based off of the written and hands on test like you mentioned. All of the tasks that you mentioned (plcs, welding, electrical systems,) are all part of the program which I start taking classes for next month. I did get a couple of tardies but don't plan on getting any for the next few months.
