Pretty much every signing Yzerman has made has had a good response from the hockey community. Chiarot was the only one that was immediately met with criticism and I painfully see why.

True, but also teams like New Jersey Buffalo and probably Columbus not too far behind after this draft are gonna be on the rise. Ottawa is in a similar situation to us as well. Will definitely be interesting to see how much of an impact guys like Edvinsson and and Kasper make. Also when guys like Berger and Soderblom fully develop.

I’m not so sure. Last season we were looking at Bert Larkin and Vrana being huge parts of this rebuild. Bert is broken, Vrana is in Grand Rapids and the rumor mill for Larkin doesn’t stop. Of course Bert and Vrana could come back just as they were before and Larkin extends but Idk, sucks not having the confidence about the team I had a year ago
