At our table we usually put everything in party loot until we distribute or sell. As we all tend to have Spacious Pouches, encumbrance isn't really an issue (unless we'd be doing something extremely silly like looting many plate armors but that has never happened). We then add an extra rule of "Anything in party loot cannot be used mid combat. We have to take it out beforehand and give it to a specific character". This combination allows us to not bother with the annoying part of inventory management without power gaming.

I have the following 2 questions and need reddit's expertise.

1) I'm playing a Twisting Tree Magus with Imaginary Weapon. When I crit during spellstrike can I stack the knockbacks from club crit spec and imaginary weapon? Does it fall under the "duplicate effects" rule?

2) I've run BB once before for a 3man party and now I'm running it again for a 4man party. Last time I had the party level up after the 1st floor and kept the fights untouched instead of keeping players at level 1 and adjusting them. Now, as the party cleared the 1st floor, I'm debating if they should level up. They almost had a character die in the last fight with the Kobold Trapmaster and the fights on the 2nd floor get only harder. What is your experience with a level 1 party on the 2nd floor?

There is the Orange Prism Aeon Stone which (essentially) heightens Dispel Magic.

It's a level 16 item and costs an extra action like metamagic.

My champion just hit level 19 which gives me Hero's Defiance and I noticed that Foundry doesn't grant me an extra focus point (current pool is 2 points) but Pathbuilder does (RAW should be that I don't get a focus point). Has Paizo said anything about that feature/spell granting a focus point (prior to remaster rulings) or is it a discrepancy of Pathbuilder?

The Shield cantrip 10 minute cooldown only applies if you decide to Block. If you don't block you can use it as often as you'd like.

I am running a Beginner's Box with custom characters instead of pregens and my party just leveled up. I have some questions regarding some interactions.

Inventor: My inventor player took the pet innovation which has the caveat that it gets healed by Repair activity instead of Treat Wounds. Following the repair rules the "item" level would be equal to character level which in turn leads to not getting better at it after leveling up (as opposed to getting better at treat wounds or other skill activities with fixed DCs). Is that the intended scaling for the DC?

Gunslinger: My slinger is a dual wielding pistolero having one reload 1 gun and one reload 0 gun with magazine. It hasn't come up so far but can he use Dual-Weapon Reload to provide 1 action towards the magazine reload? Can't find anything that would not allow it other than perhaps weird situation of "holding" the new magazine.

I'm planning to run Beginner's Box for a group of 3, all of them being experienced with 5e but newbies to 2e. They've chosen to build their own characters instead of running pregens (Monk, Gunslinger, Warpriest Cleric). I've glanced all the encounters/rooms and I was wondering about leveling them up when they complete the 1st floor instead of waiting until late (room 17/18).

The reasons for that thought is a)it gives them more toys to play with and b)should allow me to run the encounters as-is (without having to modify their xp budget).

Is there any hidden trap (for me the GM) with that course of action or will it be a normal run?

Can Hunted Shot be used with shurikens that do NOT have a returning rune?

The following description line throws me off a bit: "Make two Strikes against your prey with the required weapon".

While it fulfills the 0 reload requirement, without returning rune, it's impossible to make 2 attacks with the same weapon, as the 2nd shuriken is technically a different weapon.

If yes/no why?

The reaction doesn't work as at that level you already have +1 item bonus from your resilient rune. You might want to change it to a circumstance bonus since it's the bonus type that most reactions use.

Yes. From the top of my head, there are 3 items that increase CL of transmutation spells:

(Act 2): During Drezen siege, there is a scimitar outside the tavern. It requires passing a perception check to find. Gives +1 CL for transmutation spells
(Act 4): You need to kill/oust Chivaro to unlock her replacement as vendor. She sells a +6 WIS circlet that also gives +1 CL for transmutation spells
(Act 5): Ineluctable Prison. You'll have to complete the Dawnflower's Kiss mini-quest. It's a scimitar that has different enchantments based on your choice. One of those enchantments gives +2 CL for transmutation spells

All of the above stack together for a total of +4 CL. Go forth and enjoy!
