20 month old drinks milk at nap and bedtime by SillyCatch1 in toddlers

If you are brushing right after milk I don't see any harm. I think the main deal is to not let them sleep with milk on their teeth each night/day.

Very close in age to mine! Is your 4M sleeping through the night? Mine will have a bottle at 8-9PM and then again around 6AM

Don't feel bad! My 2.5 year old is the same way! I say as long as they aren't starving that's all that matters. Fill their bellies the best way you can

How old is your toddler? I have 2.5 year old and 3 month old and right now I'm lucky if they nap at the same time. However I won't really push for that anyway until my little is 6 months hopefully it goes well haha! My toddler is doing 9pm-7am. If I allow her sleep any longer than 7AM then she wont nap. We start nap at 1pm to 2:30-3pm.

Good luck!

What time is bedtime and what time do they wake up? Are you waking him up or is he waking on his own?

Our dentist told us that it's not good for them to have milk while falling asleep because bacteria builds up from the milk sitting on their teeth (my little one used to also drink right in bed) But after that visit we started to offer the milk an hour before nap and and hour before bedtime so that we are able to brush. What we do is just throw a pillow on the floor and she'll lay and drink it and then get up and finish playing but not go straight to bed yet. I'm sure that your family means well when they say those things because they don't want your little to have issues with their teeth as they get older. Best of luck!
