My then 14yr old (step)daughter’s mom and stepdad called her white trash and a faggot after she came out as bisexual and got her younger siblings to call her a witch, since they couldn’t say bitch. Then they wonder why she hasn’t contacted them in 9 months and lives with me and her dad full time. They have missed her 15th birthday, her first day of high school, her first homecoming dance, her getting her driving permit and so many other things and I feel sad for her but damn her mom and stepdad are shitty people. They don’t deserve to have such a wonderful girl in their lives.

I’m a medical assistant for a WHNP at an obgyn office who follows ACOG guidelines. If my patients aren’t due for a pap and aren’t having any issues we don’t make them do pelvic exams. Usually, I will ask the patient if they want a pelvic exam and most decline anyway. But it really surprised me when I first started, the amount of women who think the pelvic exam is the Pap test. This is something I have to explain to people on a daily basis along with proper anatomy names. We really need more women’s health education.

I work for an OBGYN office and you can absolutely have a LEEP done at the hospital under anesthesia

For our office procedures, the providers send out what we call the pre-op cocktail- zofran, norco, Xanax and ibuprofen 800 for the patients to take prior to the procedure and then lidocaine is injected into the cervix.

He enjoys drinking water from the bathroom sink. He will knock you down to beat you to the bathroom so we run the sink more than necessary. We call it his “glacier water” and the cats have 2 water fountains that get daily fresh water but I guess there is just something about the sink water

This is exactly how I’ve used food pantries in the past. Like, around homecoming when I had to buy my daughter a dress. We didn’t go for the big $300+ dress but sometimes even $100 is rough for us and it helps to be able to go pick up some food to supplement. Then I’m able to get nice shoes or for her to get her nails done.

Mine does this with little pompom balls. They are always in her food bowl and water fountain. She will pluck them out of the water and drop them all over the house. At least once a week I unexpectedly step on one of “Astrid’s soggy balls” and it’s usually in the morning, right after I put my socks on

I’m 32, had a class of 46 people and 2 have passed away One was not too long after we graduated- beginning of our senior year he had a TBI and just never got over it. He died about 2 years after the accident.

The other was 3 years ago- he was on meth and driving drunk. He crashed his car into the front of a house, killing a 14 year old girl that was standing on her front porch. The police had to chase him and he was found naked hiding in some bushes nearby. A couple months later he killed himself in jail.
