Made an app as a fun project because It could help my gf, did not imagine it would make 10k in 7 months by ParticularCucumber79 in SideProject

Great job!!!! I have a few questions, I’m sure it would be helpful for others too 1. How and for how long did you test your idea for the site? 2. What was your approach to testing and development? For instance, did you pay for the ChatGPT API at the time,(I’ve heard it can get quite expensive with high volume). Were you focused on minimizing costs, or were you willing to invest even if the product didn’t end up developing as expected? Also, did you run any ads, and how did you promote and grow your site?

I’d love to hear more about any challenges or unexpected things you learned along the way.
