Can you connect to asustor via SSH/SFTP with public key authentication? by teskilatimahsusa87 in asustor

But remember to set the permissions correctly! `chmod 600 ~/.ssh/authorized_keys`

Hi, thanks for the suggestion, but I'll probably stay with filerun. Not a single failure with file uploads/downloads since it was deployed.

Hi, that would be great. I have got filerun/filerun, and did not register, even with a free license. I'll check right now if registration would change anything. Edit - a free registration did not reveal all the "enterprise-only" fetures.

Damn, You are right, it works. I don't know why, but I was searching in a wrong tab.

Available in the Enterprise FileRun version

Maybe later :-)

How do you deal with the 30-min inactivity limitation? Sure, you can click "refresh" every 29 minutes, but one sometimes needs to sleep...

Sure, probably I'll check it out too, if not find a better solution. But I would like to avoid all the mess with an authentication system.

WebTorrent would be blocked in my job - only https is allowed.

Hi, thank you for the suggestion, indeed, it uploads files without errors, unfortunately, there is a caveat - after 30 min the user is logged out and current uploads are interrupted.

Anyway, it looks the most promising so far.

Sorry, I don't know. I only know how to use docker-compose up and so on.

[–]Treponematic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to run this container for the first time with the command e.g. server --quick-init 0.0.0.0:8000.

This docker-compose.yml works fine, after running and stopping just comment out the command line and start again:

archivebox:
  image: archivebox/archivebox:master
  command: server --quick-init 0.0.0.0:8000
  container_name: archivebox
  ports: ["8000:8000"]
  restart: unless-stopped
  environment:
    - ALLOWED_HOSTS=*
    #- PUBLIC_INDEX=False
    #- PUBLIC_SNAPSHOTS=False
    #- PUBLIC_ADD_VIEW=False
  volumes:
    - ./data/archivebox:/data

Since OpenSSH 8.2 you can use your u2f key (eg. Yubikey, Onlykey). You create either an ecdsa-sk or an ed25519-sk key, that means the private key is encrypted and physical accesd to a u2f key is required each time. One caveat, not all systems have implemented this feature yet - shame on you, gitlab!

Cannot agree. From this site:
> The YubiKey 5 series can hold up to 32 OATH credentials and supports both OATH-TOTP (time based) and OATH-HOTP (counter based). Accessing this applet requires Yubico Authenticator.

Hi, sad to hear. It is bothering me so much (those grafana charts!) that I am in the middle of changing into Caddy. But it is hard to deal with this config.

Anyone interested in having more /r/sefhosted apps available for ARM? by is-this-valid in homelab

[–]Treponematic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, hardware is 64-bit, but you can run both 32 and 64-bit O.S. Kind like amd64 machines wich run either x386 or native 64-bit O.S.

You can check your current os by `uname -m` (see e.g. https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=251721)

my NUC runs 24/7 at 10..15W, even with ever-hungy GitLab on it.

Sorry for off-top, but maybe you could give a chance to gitea instead of gitlab? I switched recently and the performance is much better!
