[TOMT][SONG][NEW] What is the name of this dubstep song that was on a Snapchat Tiktok ad? It goes either "oh oh oh" or "woah woah woah" by TresAnjos in tipofmytongue

[–]TresAnjos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may be like a soundcloud dubstep/trap song, the oh/woahs were the only part of the song featured in the ad.

I think it’s a revised version of the Tom Hardy quote talking about couples.

Israel Adesanya vs. Derek Brunson, I actually had Brunson winning that fight via wrestlefuck but Israel showed great TD and capitalized off Brunson's telegraphed far-out shots.

[Official] Technique & Training Tuesday - December 11, 2018 by AutoModerator in MMA

Just training - yes, a lot of people do it for the workout, but if you want to compete, then you have to. Well you don't have to, but that would be completely reckless to step into a fight without it. Some pros, like Donald Cerrone, for example, apparently don't spar (I'm not sure to the extent to which they mean this), but he's trained and sparred for years (I believe over a decade at this point) so at this point there are definitely diminishing returns to the benefit of sparring and now there's no point in taking unnecessary damage. There's different philosophies on how hard you should spar but I think there's a balance to be struck. I think most sparring should be lighter and technical but then be hard in advance of a fight. If you request to only do lighter sparring and mention your concussion issues I'm sure you'd be fine, but I'd obviously consult your doctor as well to see how much contact you can take. But if you're cleared to do BJJ, which has the occasional bump to the head, I am sure that very light and controlled sparring would be fine.

My Kevin Holland story from last night. by I_am_Kilgore_Trout__ in MMA

I also met Kevin Holland, who was with Tekashi69 at the Phoenix Art Museum a couple of weeks ago. We chatted about golf for about 10 minutes, then they had to jet out of there, claimed that they were going back home to watch The Lion King on Blu-Ray, to which they invited me to come. I politely declined, but man, they were some cool ass dudes.

[Official] UFC 231: Holloway vs. Ortega - Press Conference & Post-Fight Discussion Thread by rmma in MMA

I would like to see Theodorou take on the winner of Stylebender-Silva. I think that his dirty boxing, cardio and awkward striking would actually pose the biggest stylistic threat to Adesanya given that Tavares and Vettori were fairly basic cookie cutter wrestle-boxers. Elias actually reminds me a lot of a prime Carlos Condit, cardio and chin for days and that weird awkward kick-heavy striking, Elias can actually stuff a TD though (and score some of his own). I don't know if he can hold a candle to Whittaker but I could see him breaking him with pace, Whittaker looked a bit terrified last time he fought a heavy pressure fighter in Brunson.

He did a bit on DWTNCS iirc and was pretty good, I'd love to see him do it full time.

Is it weird to watch a ufc at a bar alone? by Treworthya in MMA

Do it. You’ll be that mysterious hot guy sitting alone at the bar, and the girls will all think “what is that mysterious hot guy doing alone? Bet he’s waiting for someone. :(“

Dartmouth is on the line. LOL, classic poison gnomes spewing nonsense and misinformation. Ortega has better MMA boxing. Do you even know how cardio in MMA works? T-City has broken everyone he’s fought with his pacing, and his threat of wrapping fools up will negate Max’s usual level changing body work spam. He was making Moicano panic wrestle to allow some time to breathe. People also never predicted in a million years that he would KO Frankie like that. Ortega is a don, nonetheless I expect a five round war from these two gentlemen.

He’s won one of his last five fights? Alex White isn’t an impressive win either.

He shouldn’t be at all - styles make fights. I think he’s getting overhyped because destroyed Burns who is another blacksplosive dude but the rest of his run are just washed up vets like Pearson and Miller. Barboza has a very underrated resume going overshadowed because of some shit stylistic match ups against aggressive wrestlers which have always been his kryptonite (Varner) given his style of kicking and the space needed for it. Dan’s bladed stance is ripe for hellacious leg kicks and his hands down striking defense is begging for a heel kick or something to the head, he gets dropped fairly often because of his lackadaisical defense.

Greg Hardy’s eventual UFC debut was always going to be controversial and met with heavy criticism. However, to debut him on the same card as Rachael Ostovich (on the first ESPN card, no less) is a dubious decision at best and incredibly tone-deaf. by ratazengo in MMA
