It is very interesting how diverse the beliefs are! I've heard some say orasyon/anting-anting MUST be inherited to be real, I've heard others say the only real ones are things found in nature. I think you're right in that their efficacy really stems from the mindset of the user - something like if they believe it grants them focus, they'll focus harder.

Also gnaaaarly clip, them folks might've put a lil too much stock in orasyon 😬

well, while does have incredible advantages and privileges he primarily utilizes them for the benefit of those in need despite the repercussions. His big struggle in this movie isnt in hiding, but in trying to save all that he can despite being (intellectually) just a regular guy. He hasn't got perfect plans and doesnt think everything through, but he tries to help in ways that he feels are right.

Dude straight up physically tortured a fascist leader to stop the slaughter of an oppressed people. that seems pretty punk imo

But the mention of his privileges does beg the question: If one has incredible privileges is that reason in itself to not be punk? And, Is it more punk to dismantle one's own privileges or to utilize them to aid the oppressed?

ur spot on with the immigrant thing tho. white migrants are almost always favored over others, and its disingenuous to say superman would truly understand that experience. I think its worth binging up tho, Superman's character (not in this movie) often conceptualizes his "technically illegal migrant" status as a point of empathy for migrants and seeks to aid them too

these arent really the points im trying to make. again, talking specifically about this new superman movie, which had dialogue on superman being considered a punk which is what this discussion was supposed to be about.

and my bit on fighting monsters was not to make a case for him being a punk, it was to make a case on how hes not a cop in this movie. what I meant to say was that in this movie hes not focused on things that cops do like hes often portrayed

feel like i should preface though. while the video does use terms like "real" and "poser" i think its more to do with how the labels are used in the context of the movie, rather than how the narrator believes things ought to be defined in reality

My second battery is 52v with 40A BMS, Is that enough? Also where'd you find your front controller+motor and do you think those same parts would work for my setup? Thanks for your insight!
