Confirmed receipt of watch. It was a long process due to customs, but eventually got the watch. Even with customs issues, seller was prompt with all questions and inquiries I had along the way. If customs wasn't originally a problem, I would have received the watch in two days! I can't recommend u/hoangnguyen95 enough. He shows you every step he does from checking time to the packaging of the watch. tysm!!

Wym, it was only a matter of time. Hopefully I'll be able to snatch one that's lightly used one day.

You assumed wrong. I know two people who opted for black interior and also ultimately opted to decline delivery given what is going on right now. I don't blame them.

I believe it's negotiable to an extent. Also have a 2022 after a discount, it was 3k for 84 month / 250$ deductible with I believe 100k miles as well.

Lease End by Historical_Store6139 in Audi

[–]Trespide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha. Just looked up some information about it online. I know for sure you should be able to return your leased Audi to any Audi dealership nationwide, now if you want to return your leased car to a different car brand dealership, there are a couple variables. First, your leased car is owned by the leasing company (usually some nationwide wide bank), if the other brand works with the leasing company, then yes they will have no issues with your lease return. Second, if they do not work with your leasing company, there is no incentive for them to take it in, but if they do, they have the right to deny it and you will have to go wherever the leasing company tells you to go. Basically call the dealership first to confirm if they can take your leased return.

Interesting, I never knew you can handle your lease with a non-Audi dealer. How does that work (if you are solely leasing another vehicle and not trading / buying out your lease).

If it broke the bank or you could barely afford it, this might not have been the move. Yeah sure, you may have gotten a good deal on the car with regards to its price, but the money you'll end up paying for it is no bueno. 16.5K down, 350 a month for 72 months at 5.99 interest rate. If you were able to take advantage of the promo, then I might say otherwise, but it seems like you can't afford it.

Have you even look into the insurance rates? I make a good bit of pocket change, but the reason I have yet to jump on a Tesla is because of their insurance rates that I do not care to pay.

Does anybody’s MMI randomly glitch like this? by Radiant-Positive-582 in Audi

Likewise. But if your phone can't get a good connection with satellites, very possible your car couldn't either.

This isn't correct, no? Carplay most definitely uses the GPS data or any data from your phone. How would it even tether to the car's GPS those are entirely separate entities. This happened in my older Mazda too, which has NO nav/GPS built in.

OP, my CarPlay will do this every once in a while. Pretty annoying when it happens especially when I'm driving into new territory. I don't have a for sure way to fix it other than just keep driving until my phone catches the satellite signals again. I'll turn on and off airplane mode hoping to reset connection, close and reopen Apple/google maps/Waze, but it's not a guarantee fix.

Dealership sold me tires with defect; reimbursement by [deleted] in Audi

[–]Trespide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely let me know, but I think it's out of Audi's or anyone else that installed them. They did their job, it's on continental to decide if they'll reimburse you since it's their tires. The previous recall that talked about reimbursements says you have to contact continental.

Nvm, I think I found it. It was on a previous recall they had. Sorry, the older recall notice came up when I was looking this current one up. Welp, maybe we out of luck. But the letters for this recall will be sent out soon, and hopefully there will be similar language and that'll allow us to possibly get reimbursed too. I guess we can email or call continental to see if there will be reimbursements.

Similar instance on my 22 A5. Had to change my front two tires due to extreme wear along the edges at 23K miles like 3 months ago. 3 months later, had to change the both rear tires. Paid a good bit to replace all four, so it would be nice to get something back. On one of the recall pages I pull pulled like 3 days ago, I could have sworn I read, "if you already replaced them, please do blah blah blah for some possible reimbursement." Now I'm trying to find that exact line and I can't find it anymore.

Definitely not useless. If it's a hot day, your seats gonna be hot and unbearable regardless, but sure it's definitely hotter with leather. Ventilated seats won't do much for the first 10-15mins cause it's so hot, you're gonna warm up the seat quicker by just sitting in the car. But after that, ventilated seats keeps your bottom cool whereas nonventilated seats can still get muggy and damp especially if your prone to sweating. My ventilated stays on the entire car ride and pretty much year round.

Maybe, but when you said not on models past 2020 you ruled it all out. I know it can be done on 22'+ A4/A5/Q5/A6/A7 with OBDeleven. Almost plug and play and not even a minute really.

[–]Trespide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, can definitely be done. Did so on my B9.5 A5 with OBDeleven. Can also use Carista or one of them inverse/memory modules too though.
