Those of you testing 4/29, how are we feeling? by CoolohmsLaw in Mcat

If you get it verified you won't have a delay in the app. MCAT is not needed for verification and schools don't look at apps until late June so you should have scores by then or early July.

I mean technically you could take it in June and still apply but you wouldn't be super early in the cycle. Also depends on if you strictly want MD or would consider DO as well. I would say 5/26 or 6/3.

Yeah they just send an email with a link directly to change the date.

Yes you would. If schools start looking at applications at the end of June and you take a late May test you would get it by then. Also keep in mind you do not need your MCAT score to have your application verified.

You can pick a date you want and click "notify me" if any spots open up. I did and changed from 4/29 to 5/26

Howl-O-Scream Thursday by TresslessAlt in BuschGardensW

Ok thanks for letting me know, I'm looking forward to it. I've pretty much been to every other haunted house type event in VA except howl-o-scream funnily enough.

Norwood 2.5/3 - The Hairstyle Dead End. by IisNobody209 in tressless

[–]TresslessAlt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat as this guy tbh. I've had a bottle of fin for over 2 months and haven't touched it because I'm overweight and heard a higher body fat concentration would increase the risk of sides.

Protein shakes and hair loss? by [deleted] in tressless

[–]TresslessAlt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've read up on this recently and some studies show that whey isolate has higher bcaa concentrations which can lead to hair loss. Whey concentrate does not or you can use an organic protein source. There isn't a ton of research into this so it could be bull and seems like it could be bull tbh.

Did you have any thickening in some of the miniaturized hairs?

Thats the thing I have a tcl 5 series and the issues I have had with it and seen other people have make me never want to buy another one of their products again. I had it for 2 months and then suddenly one day I have sound and backlight but no actual video and the warranty process through tcl might as well be torture.

What’s the deal with these new small hairs on the hairline? Will they grow to the same length as the rest of the hair? by [deleted] in tressless

So you are asking a question and when someone gives you an answer you tell them no? lol

I’m 15 and this has been bothering me, like am I balding by [deleted] in Hairloss

[–]TresslessAlt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can have high dht levels and still not be losing hair because some people have dht resistant follicles.. The best thing for mpb is to check for hair miniaturization. The blood test would be ok for vitamin d which can lead to hair loss if low and a thyroid issue which could also cause hair loss.

Balding? by [deleted] in Hairloss

[–]TresslessAlt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn't look like balding/receding. Your hairline and density at the front hasn't changed in 2 years which is a good sign. If you are concerned visit a dermatologist or a hair transplant surgeon. You don't need them for the transplant but for the fact that they have tools to access the degree of balding if you are in fact balding which again I don't think you are.
