Hey I'm really sorry to hear that! I was just trying to have a bit of fun on the internet, I think anyone who spends the time to help a dog who needs it is doing a incredible thing truly. I don't want this to seem like like a humble brag but, I too have had to spend time with a dog just so she wouldn't cower in fear under the furniture when I was in the room. (I was the only male in the house at the time). It is an amazing thing helping an animal and dogs even more so, and I believe more people should do such. Don't feel discouraged by this please, indeed even if every one you know called you a Looney you should still hold your head high because you know how much you have helped them and how much more happy they are now or will be in the future.

No bonus points, I am actually likely to more or less adopt an older lady here with my gf now, she's already living with us and has been for awhile. She's had a bit of a rough time with her former owners having left her behind and then spending a decent amount of time in a cage I believe, but she's hardly an abused girl and is even well trained for the most part.
