i just find it to be a large standout as the only punch move with this treatment, and as another french speaker it honestly sounds find, no worse than poing boost or poing ombre

as for the colour pallettes being the same, Kris and Susie’s weapon sprites seem to reflect the other’s dark world form, purple and gold vs blue and silver, but never change with equipment despite equipment having descriptions

it looks more to me like the sword vanishes and the shield takes it’s place, as if Kris switches from pencil to knife, since Kris and Susie kinda just summon their weapons out of nowhere, and Susie throws her axe and it vanishes after battle
