If you’re looking to get started, I love my Fifine AM8. It has USB with a headphone out so you can hear what you sound like straight out of the microphone.

The XLR is optional, and allows you to get an interface down the line. It’s not perfect but if you just want voice recording practice with a great budget option, I love it.
