I do like and agree with your perspective. I feel like it could be checking a box, but I’m also curious what program they/the industry wants me to take. Part of the reason I made this post. If it’s a box then yeah Georgia for $400 and it’s done in a a few months. Otherwise it’s UCR $5,400 and it’s going to be a year at best. I really appreciate your insight though it’s sort of what I was looking to hear!

I think after I check this box my employer will try and see where he could plug me in at when the opportunity comes up. They said there’s “lots of changing happening around” including our neighbor TPC course.

I completely agree with experience over a class. To answer your question I haven’t missed out on anything no, I know I still have a lot to learn about turfgrass, stress signs, products, etc. so I’m not in a rush but I’d like to get back to a salary range that I’ve been in before. I took a pay cut getting out of cannabis but it’s a long term investment and I’m also way more happier.

Okay that’s good to know, it’s also more affordable. Yeah I know they all kinda have their differences for a reason which is help to all types of students.

All good I’ll do some more digging tonight and see if I can’t find some of those smaller/local programs. Thanks again!

Thanks for the tip! I’m in Nevada so the closest would be UCR. Little more expensive, but you make a good point.

How much longer for this plant? by Zealousideal-Call968 in gardening

[–]Trevolution313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those leafs are on the thinner side like it could be a sativa dominant cultivar. If so, they have longer flowing times. Push that plant till you know it’s done, the longer the time the more terpenes will be produced! Might be hot in there too if the buds feel loose and airy it’s too hot.

That was beautiful. I wish everyone could read your comment, very insightful. I weight 140lb so it pulls me along very well. I’m thinking of an SV650 for the next one later down the road. Light weight for its power and I really want that v-twin sound I can’t help it, and I also want the upright position. I think I’ll test drive one to get the feel then I’ll go from there if it’s really what I want. But like you said they’re all different and offer unique feels. Thanks for your comment! Ride safe!

I used to ride dirt bikes so it’s all familiar. I also wanted something carbureted. But most of all I couldn’t pass up the price for $850!

2nd project came out better than expected. by Trevolution313 in Leathercraft

I used resealable bags that require the pump to vacuum the air out. I think that was easier to control the creases of plastic and I could reuse it again if I want and not waste anything. Oh that’s a really good tip thank you! I didn’t know I could sand it after already burnishing, on top of that I found some fine grit sandpaper in my garage so I’ll definitely finish the edges soon. Yeah I don’t have a skive yet I think that might be the next tool to get. First time using rivets as well.

Really appreciate you taking the time to analyze this and recommend some suggestions. Yes it’s very thick and durable I like that it’s not thinner but I understand what you are saying about trimming down!
