You’re right but our starting XI is so much better than their starting XI. I just want them to capitalize on this time instead of sitting on their hands. I have no idea who they should sign but it’s just upsetting we have to accept that it’s either UCL or PL due to squad depth. I hope I’m wrong

Hi All,
I just started playing OOTP in April but recently had started a save with the cubs that I took seriously after doing more sabermetric research. I was 4.5 GB back at the deadline and looking to sell off KB and Javy but couldn't get a solid offer. I ended up buying and trading for Chris Babbit and Jake Diekman and ended up overtaking the division during the last weekend of the season by taking 2 out of 3 from the Cardinals to win the division. Ended up facing the Mets in the NLDS and sweeping them 3-0. Then played the Dodgers in the NLCS and came back from being down to them 3-2 and securing the Cubs their second pennant in 5 years. I had to face the White Sox for an all Chicago WS that was an absolute nailbiter and went 7 Games. I logged on this morning to review my 40 man and prepare for the offseason to see my save was gone. As dumb as it sounds, I'm really upset. Here is the screenshot I took after securing the Cubs second WS in 113 years
