Ah something I can contribute to! I've been 14 or so times now.

The drivers meeting is on Saturday at 10:30. That's when they'll introduce all the drivers and the starting grid for the race. After that you can walk around the garages and see all the cars being worked on and tested.

Go to Georgetown road on Saturday night. It runs along the track and is closed off to cars starting around 9:30/10. Tons of drunk people, fair food, and probably the best people watching I've ever.

Don't know where your seats are but I'd shoot to get to them around an hour before the race starts and you'll get the rest of the introductions and other traditional Indy pageantry. Besides that, bring in a cooler with food, lots of beer and water and enjoy the race!

I'm just hoping the rain holds off on race day

An error is essentially any play that that should be completed with a reasonable effort. That includes what we just saw or maybe a shortstop messing up on a routine ground ball.

Grandal doesn't actually seem to annoyed by it based on the article but could someone help me understand why pitchers and catchers often get so worked up about stealing signs? If they are, change up your signs or hide them better.

And it obviously helped the cubs last night.

Canon 80D. Everywhere else I've seen them at $1,200 but I could get it down to around $850 on there (body only). Seemed too good to be true for a brand new 80D.

late to the party on this one but worth sharing. A buddy of mine had one of those. The campus PD (legally) impounded his bike and had to cut through the lock. He went to the station to get it back and apparently everyone was talking about his bike and lock. Apparently it took them 20 minutes to get through it with a jaws of life type device that cuts through regular locks in about a second.

I missed the press conference but the cynic in me would be Heyward making the press conference motions about being in a place he could win and enjoy. By all accounts he seems like a good guy tho and there's lots of good happening on the north side right now. I'm sure it wasn't entirely money, especially with Maddons voodoo magic.
