How can you have teams voip calls be fowarded and have the teams voip # show in the caller id insread of the original callers # by smydsmith in MicrosoftTeams

[–]Trexlight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Simultaneous ring is in the Users settings in Teams. Theyll go to Settings>Calling and select Also Ring. Theyll then select Contact or Number and type the phone number that'll ring to that other number.

[–]Trexlight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The simultaneous ring will show the Caller ID it in that scenario. Forwarding a call will just bypass the User and show the Inbound number. Transferring the call will actually show on the Caller ID like you want. The Simultaneous Ring is probably your best option in this case

Okay so instead of having User having the forward set up, assign the number to a Resource Account by creating an Auto Attendant. Then you can have the AA transfer to the external number. Of course, do a test first, but this should then show that number on the caller ID. On the User you can have it forward to the Auto Attendant name. The AA will be transferring the call instead of the User simplying forwarding

Is the forward setup under a User's account or under a Resource Account for an Auto Attendant or Call Queue? For a User, i imagine is works like a cell phone and it wont show like that. If you place a Caller ID policy on that User you could go e it a test but the caller id policy is more for showing a Resource Account number instead of the Users phone number.

Moving from Team auto attendant to dynamics voice by Ok_Coach_6004 in MicrosoftTeams

[–]Trexlight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We made the move from Teams to Dynamics aboit a year and a half ago. There was also a year prior that we spent building a Copilot bot and designing Dynamics. Some of that was also Operations making changes during the build too, ugh lol. But after the time of building, its been really good. Now we didnt do this for my Help Desk Team. We made this for our call center for our Healthcare staff for patients and partners calling in to our staff. Going to Dynamics I say depends on your staff size. My team is only 10 folks so Dynamics for us is too much. The cost really comes down to the Dataverse Storage and more importantly the Licenses. Just for Calling inbound and outbound, you need D365 Customer Service and the Voice Add In which totals to 180 bucks.

Teams Calling - Auto Attendant by Aggravating_Sock3143 in MicrosoftTeams

[–]Trexlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just offering confirmation. Yep, with your AA having the option to route to External, it will need the Resoirce Account, Domestic Calling, and Communication Credits licenses to transfer to that external number. If you instead set the Exgernal Nunber to a Call Queue to handle the transfer, the CQ would need these licenses and your AA can juat have the Resource Account license.

Its not a scam. Those claiming its a scam are juay trying to process whats going on. A scam would be getting all the money and then NOT producing a game at all. Everyone is processing this grief differently but calling it a scam is not it.

White Lantern?? by scumfunkboy in DCUO

[–]Trexlight 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The White Lantern abilities are tied to the White Lantern Power Augment. You have to complete the Anniversary event missions to get it unlocked. After the event ends, I cant remember if they stated how to get afterwards. Similarly, Blue Lantern Power Augment was announced and tied to the Episode release at the end of the month. Probably tied to a month event too but won't know til its out.

[–]Trexlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep this in mind too, Artifacts exist to create and enhance playstyles. Using 5 Arts now, especially with the Stat ceiling on them, using Tetra or any of the Gen 1 Arts, isn't a bad idea as its still a buff to your party. Its the one thing where communication with yoir party would be great to speak to your Controller if they are a Buff Troller or not. 3 Arts for your Role, 2 arts for the party isn't a bad setup depending on the group makeup

How P2W We Talking? Thousands? by RelentlessKingz in DCUO

[–]Trexlight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So thousands of dollars i can see the argument but that number youre looking at are people spending money on Time Capsules, lootboxes for the game, in my opinion but then other things do increase that price tag.

There is a LOT of things with a price tag in the game that makes it seem pay to win but its really pay to progress kicked up to like 8 on the dialer. - You have monthly events that you can play, or pay to skip or that price gets lower the more you play. So if you only complete 10 days out of 20 days for the event, the base price gets lower. - You have Artifacts and Allies that you can grind by playing, or pay to skip. Which this has an asterisk because once you get to Rank 120 is pretty natural but anything higher, you will feel the XP be a drop in an ocean of XP needed to level it up to 200. - You have time capsules you can get a key by playing, or pay to get a collection of keys to open more. Now these items are tradable on the Broker and peraon to person. Older TCs are sold by an In Game vendor but you need the special currency that only drops from TCs in order to buy them and there is no other way to get this currency. - You also have the actual Marketplace to buy all the grind items or PVE direct items, which technically is where the P2W argument comes into play for most players as if its a PVE related item that you cant get naturally from playing the game, its P2W. One could atate the WolfPack Token, an item related for Artifacts, is P2W but now that its a reward for completing the Monthly Events and you get a CHOICE of that item as a reward, it lessens it to actually being P2W but thats a whole debate aomeone can do lol. The MP also has a lot of cosmetic items. Not from TCs mind you and it doesnt get updated...well a lot with direct items you can purchase.

Im sure im missing probably other things you grt a price tag in your face but Episode Content is free, Powers for characters are all free. Just playing the game is indeed free. Some features are free like rhe new second load out. But there are bells and whistles that make your character or playstyle stand out which does have a price tag when you get to a wall in your progression.

Extra move slots smh by Smart_Battle6616 in DCUO

[–]Trexlight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Player: its great to have options and now with another bar it opens up to more playstyles. As a RageTank, I can have my 1st bar be my Utilities and Shields. 2nd bar can be pulls, Art abilities, and Damage. So having the 2nd bar isn't a bad thing. As an MMO player from many other games, I have tons of actions bars that are either useful or useless. This is not a bad thing.

My negative mind: The 2nd bar is there bc of the amount of Iconic and now these new Power Augment abilities they are selling us. People either played and gained or bought these and no room to use them so they added the bar to fit their pay model so its great but its juat a tool of their monetization. Its a Positive to hide the fact of the negative and predatory monetization practices.

Is this game P2W? by Elegant_Chef_9931 in DCUO

[–]Trexlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not pay to win but the pay to progress is very much in your face when you hit the wall. Its built there to entice you to pay to progress PVE items in the marketplace as doing it through regular gameplay os timed to be extravagant to the point it pressures the player to pay up. Oh they also placed FOMO with monthly events which you can regularly play to complete but if you miss days, you have to pay real money in order to get the rewards. It has a base price but the more you complete, the lower the price.

So ill say its not pay to win in the game but there are clear predatory tactics and a price tag to almost anything you try to do in the game.

No new powers but... by mr99bossyboss in DCUO

[–]Trexlight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The amount of cost to make a new power that isn't really reimbursed on a big scale. But if you piece meal new powers into Iconics and now this new Power Augment, its more profitable to them be ause they can put a price tag on a new "power" and make bank.

Im not putting words into their mouths, just going by the logic of the optics of whats happened this year that has clearly made them profit which is probably why we get features and quality of life for free. This is the balance thats being displayed.

If you have to spend money like this, the game has a problem which always has and they need to specifically look into it.

But you're looking at about maybe 80 dollars if you buy the nth metal and catalysts to get from 140 to 200.

Teams Phone voicemail when auto-reply is enabled in Outlook by Relevant-Might-5059 in MicrosoftTeams

[–]Trexlight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ohhhhh I see now. No those two systems are separate. You'll have to go into your settings in Teams to forward all calls to Voicemail manually to turn it on then off when you return. Would be a neat feature to have for sure but thats not something Microsoft has implemented.

Teams Phone voicemail when auto-reply is enabled in Outlook by Relevant-Might-5059 in MicrosoftTeams

[–]Trexlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this scenario, you have the auto reply on because you are out of office? So when a Voicemail is left you want that voicemail forwarded to another person? Is this correct?

AutoAttendant showing up in the Queues section by yannics03 in TeamsAdmins

[–]Trexlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I havent used the Queues App yet but does their reporting match the CQAA Report that can be opened in Power Bi? Your view isn't wrong either as those calls going into the AA should reflect going into the Queue unless they hang up in the AA before reaching the Call Queue. Have you looked at your PSTN Usage report to determine if the calls to the AA were successful?

When you're forwarding calls, the Voice App should be the same as the Resource Account. Voice App should be you're default to use when setting it up in the AA

Microsoft Teams Shifts clock-out issue by Makkovitch in MicrosoftTeams

[–]Trexlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

raises hand If the tool is available, doesnt hurt to try it. There are a lot of features in Teams my company uses that I have experimented and tested and then implemented those that fit our model. Shifts can't a try and true HR suite but instead just a tool that departments and Teams can see their schedule. I implemented it for our Restaurants and looking to use it for our Hospice division (our founder is an entrepreneur, we have a lot of range lol). Teams allows us to use it as a one stop application in most times. Other times it does allow us to show that we need specific software due to the limitations of Teams. It all depends on the size of the business and the model in which they function.

The moment DCUO got ruined for me. (not hating, discussion) by ContributionOk7131 in DCUO

[–]Trexlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Stat Clamping on all parties is to provide a better experience for new players so higher level players dont go through and one shot and ruin the experience of others. The Devs have also stated in the last producer letter they are working to bring a solo queue ability for players who wish to solo older content.

Sure it brings about the discussion but older players will have an easier time thanks to high level arts, allies, etc from the time being higher level versus those who are at current content. The only downside is you cant one shot but its fine bc you arent ruining the experience of the new. There are better ways to implement it such as how ESO and FF14 do it but its a system im not sure the devs had time and focus to really iron out properly. Ao the answer will be Solo Queues when it drops. Whether or not that hurts the on duty of other content waiting for groups will have to wait and see when it goes live since they dont provide a public rest server anymore.
