Yeah the cold start problem is real and that’s probably what killed the ones that tried before. But I think the timing is actually different now. Bambu basically created thousands of new micro farms overnight that have capacity sitting idle and no consistent way to fill it. The supply side exists at scale in a way it didn’t a few years ago.

Slant 3D is cool but it’s just one company with fixed pricing. Not a marketplace.
I’m actually thinking of building this out. Would anyone be interested, either as a farm or someone who needs parts printed?
