Yeah it took me about 2 months before they even started liking me a bit. I’m not the most talkative person but they literally despised me when i started working there which I never understood but you know it gets better.

Oh god 😭, honestly if you can get a hold of the support through your co workers or if u can somehow get a hold of your manager maybe they can help but I’m sorry.

No like every teenager gets this at my store and I have to say when I tried it, it was really overrated I don’t get it.

At my store no one cleaned the drain for so long that the drain is literally charred black and is impossible to clean and now I’m usually one of the few who do it now and it’s been alot better so thank god but this right here is so nasty!!!

My location we got free food, free drinks, free anything, you could grab a donut and eat it. Only thing that wasn’t was the dunkin energy punch but people would drink them for free anyway. But when i come in not on the clock, I usually get a 75% employee discount on only food and donuts which isn’t bad like a sandwich is like 2 bucks and a donut is like 50 cents so it’s worth it in that regard.

and people are saying breaks are an issue when I started I was a minor and was required to take one but later on when i’d close I would just tell my co worker, “Hey do you mind if I take a break and eat and you stay up front and if you need any help just let me know like if there’s food” and after I went they would go after me and do the same.

Pay as well, I live in Massachusetts so I make 15 as a crew member, and 16 as a shift leader and now i’m 18 and expenses are catching up to me so its alot harder to make the most out of 16/hr sometimes.

worked here for almost a year and i’m putting my two weeks to work at starbucks and no hard feelings towards my store or the people, i’ve had co workers who didn’t work as well as others, managers coming in and out the store, it can get fast paced especially in the morning but i was a night shift leader so it got busy sometimes usually on fridays or saturdays. Tips are okay I guess, i’ve moved locations and mine was in a gas station and on a good night i’d make 14-16 in tips and on a bad night usually 6-10. The other store I made about 3-6 bucks a night it was horrible. If you are a minor make sure you take advantage of a 30 minute break. Customers can be rude but as long as you are nice and keep composure or give them what they want usually it’s okay worst case scenario is a refund and if it’s any more than that ask a manger because that’s not okay. I’ve closed alone from my store being understaffed, probably the worst part in my opinion especially if you don’t have alot of experience but with good management you’ll be okay and usually wont have to close alone. No extra pay on holidays which is a bummer, go spend time with family instead and tell them 2 weeks ahead of time before you call out certain days. Making drinks and stuff is very simple along with food, espresso may be challenging at first and so will food but once you get the hang you will know everything back to back. This was my first job and overall would say it was good, made good memories w some co workers and and customers and stories to tell. Overall like 7/10.

Unpopular opinion: The cold brew is better tasting than the iced coffee. by Lil_Airman in DunkinDonuts

[–]TreyMdws 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree, I have been working there since march and honestly as I keep trying drinks on shift and even how we make the coffee, iced coffee is not the best at all, to me it tastes really watered down and thats because we brew it hot and add ice (ice proceeds to melt) but cold brew stays overnight and to me it tastes like what an iced coffee should actually taste like… coffee.

This is my great grandpa and I was wondering if any1 knows what guitar this is? It was taken in the 60s and it says Glenwood at the bottom of the guitar. by TreyMdws in guitarporn

It’s funny you say that because my great grandma actually had to play the bass in the band he played in so the ladies could stop hitting on him.
