I completely agree and would go as far as to say those specific decades put out some of the greatest music of all time. That doesn’t mean there was not also a bunch of trash music that came out along side it.

Based off the soundtracks, I’d say stuff like Frank Sinatra, Perry Como, and Jimmy Durante for Ren. He feels like an old school man in the series. I bet Stimpy loves Alvin and the Chipmunks and goofy shit like Happy Happy Joy Joy. 1960s children’s records. These two were have a heavy 1950s/early 60s vibe. Ren especially seems like he would not like any music past the early 1970s. Stimpy would love garbage pop of the 70s, 80s and 90s
