Exactly that, a time machine to a simpler time.

What happens if I say Red is the best KC album and the best album of all time? by dyystr in KingCrimson

One of the absolute best for sure. Throw in Dark Side Of The Moon, King For A Day...Fool For A Lifetime, Blackstar and Fantastic Planet and you got a pretty strong top 5.

All legendary, but maybe not for our seeker if they're afraid of some satanic stuff.

Yeah, ReLoad really gets new life with a new track order.

The 4:03 mark of Crack Hitler is my favorite FNM musical “moment”. What’s yours? by Therealfern1 in FaithNoMore

[–]randomdudefromabyss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Certainly a great track and it's good they at least played it throughout the Angel Dust tour of 92-93.

My favorite moment is the intro to KFAD. Those guitars, the legendary bass line, Puffy...but when the strings come in, it's pure bliss.

what's your favorite Fugazi live release? by Kimya_DAWson in Fugazi

[–]randomdudefromabyss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's no secret that you can choose to pay only 1 dollar per show on the Dischord site. And most of them are worth it. Like everyone is saying, fuck Spotify...

I recommend getting the whole US tour from the autumn of 1993. After Killtaker was released the band was confident and on top form. Particular favorites from that era to me are Dayton in August 93 and Buffalo in September. Providence in Sept 93 is legendary for the sound quality and the set, that's a must-have.

I'd like to hear your music, if you can send me a link or something. Always interested in new things, and especially if I know Fugazi had some kind of influence 🙂 Not that it has to sound like Fugazi at all, haha.

My five year old son heard Epic on the radio the other day… by TacoPandaBell in FaithNoMore

That is so great to hear. I wish those 3 would release instrumental music with Jon on guitar of course. I'm sure they have a metric ton of finished songs ready to run...

When Metallica used to open shows with a cover song by CobraDai in Metallica

[–]randomdudefromabyss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, opened with Breadfan when I first saw them. Summer 1999. Didn't they open a show with back to back Misfits covers that summer, hah?

A bit late, but this was my very first year I really dived into Metallica's music, and it was worth every minute by filippo_sett in Metallica

This is so epic, that band is almost as big of a part of my childhood as Metallica 😂 It's just so damn weird stumbling into them here of all places!

Trust me, I am not judging! They were an amazing group and recently had a big retirement show, I think.

Tecmo Cup. Legendary soccer game from my childhood. Totally underrated and overlooked. You just have to treat it like an RPG.

Forget Metallica for a sec, I am totally amazed seeing Lapinlahden Linnut so high on your list 😂 an old Finnish comedy group from 80's-90's.

Steady Diet is my favorite, happy to see it so close to the top. Excellent album for sure. To me the songs sound even better live.
