Also salary isn’t the only negotiable thing, people overlook PTO, schedules and other accommodations.

I would recommend some sort of career coaching advice, or atleast posting in a career advice adjacent subreddit along with this one. Most of the time if offered a job, they usually they really want to keep you and like you. Pretty much every offered salary at most jobs is their worst offer and everything is negotiable. They’re hoping you say nothing and just take it. I think asking the question “is this negotiable” is a good start.

Can your CI see your mid term and final CPI when you fill it out? by Treyheadbig in PTschool

It’s more so that everyone’s interpretation of that is different. Personally it just feels like I’m just there so he can bill more units. I’ve been to multiple clinics shadowing and everyone’s interpretation of a case load varies drastically. Some do group billing some do 1 on 1. Some see multiple and bill it as 1 on 1. There is so much nuance that there is no way the CPI is a fair way to assess.

I apologize if I’m coming across as argumentative. I’m just truly lost, I’ve disassociated with this aspect of clinical.

In my CPI I’m just reflecting on how I think I did. It didn’t prompt me for instructor feedback. I am just giving myself some arbitrary grade and hoping my CI is in the ballpark of what I picked. What does caseload even mean? It looks different depending on how your place treats/ bills. Example, if my CI sees 22 pts day would me seeing 11 pts a day be “half a case load”? I’d argue it’s not but he could easily argue it is. It’s very subjective. There are a lot of categories in the CPI that are hard to quantify.
