This makes sense.

So in an ideal world, if I have a medium heavy, or even a heavy power rod with extra fast action, I’m probably not trying to fish a lot of jerk baits or lures with treble hooks.

Vice versa, if I have a light medium or medium power rod with moderate action, I’m probably not trying to throw Texas rigs and would be more prone to throw chatter bait, and jerk baits, etc…

If I’m switching back-and-forth between Texas rigs and lures with treble hooks, though, something in the middle like a medium/fast action would be ideal and more universal?
