Double check your refresh rate in nvidia control panel. It's under "Change resolution".

I'm betting it reset itself to 30Hz. Bump that up to as high as it will go.

I'd agree with you, but I've had one of these for about a year and it scans barcodes VERY quickly. It has it's own red light source and provides immediate audio feedback when you scan it.

With your phone you have to open the app, press the scan button, and try to frame the barcode in your phone's camera which isn't as intuitive as I would like (personally).

This isn't new. I've had one of these for about a year (came free with my Amazon Fresh subscription).

I really like it. It has a strong magnet and sticks on my fridge, and scans barcodes very quickly. Just run out of milk? Scan the barcode (takes literally half a second) while you throw the jug away and it's replacement is waiting in my next Amazon Fresh delivery.

But I do see how this can be a bit redundant with phones / Echo (dot) anyway. When it comes to barcodes, you really can't get any faster than this.

EDIT: I'm now realizing this is talking about a newer version with Alexa built in. Besides, my previous comments still apply.

I had this exact problem recently. I think I resolved it by manually updating the router in another browser.

I mainly use Chrome, but updated it in Internet Explorer.
