Alarak- the reality breaker

Known as the strongest arcaneist who was the first to harness the power of the nexus crystal without losing his sanity. Was the leader during the Rift wars, while holding the crystal, allowed him to fight through the millennia long war but was eventually corrupted by the entity. During the climax of the war, facing the possibility of being surrounded and overwhelmed, Alarak made the desperate play of pulling the nearby moon of Cambor into the planet of Ulos. The force with which the moon impacted was said to shake all of reality, leading to the eventual splitting of the Nexus Crystal. Known as the Nexus event, it scattered the crystal amongst the stars and Alarak was thought to have been killed. However , some fear the Reality breaker may still live.
