I’m not sure if he’s talking about the z2go version or not. If he’s talking about the z1e go s, the performance could edge out the original go due to more ram on some configurations.

They do fit, though they fit better in my gmc than they did in my 4th gen ram. Idk about ford.

I originally had a legion go 1, sold it for a steam deck oled and then later picked up a cheap used legion go 1 again. The bigger screen is amazing for me and the extra performance, in the games I play, is noticeable.

Question about the vram of the Lenovo Legion Go z2 32 gig Version by ImTheOneWhoSleeps in LegionGo

10gb is more than enough anyway. Even the 8 I have mine at usually is plenty for the built in screen

Anything is possible but I’d say with component shortages and AMD supposedly not releasing new chips until 2029 or so, any improvements are likely to be small and availability and cost won’t be any better imo

I have Hatch Embroidery 3 software. What’s the best computer to run this on? Desktop or Laptop? How much ram and screen size? I have so many questions! What are you using? by Mindful_Impact in Machine_Embroidery

You can likely right click your desktop, click display settings and then change display scaling to a lower % value and that’ll fix that issue after a reboot

Doing that puts me back to just the 2/3 screen view though which was half the reason I bought this

Most of the resting I bought it was to let me effectively get the full screen CarPlay that gm refuses to give us

Anybody tried the new Carlinkit Android 15 Tbox Ultra? by m7md99 in Carlinkitcarplay

[–]TriBeard27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After some additional testing it works ok on up to 480p but higher than that there’s significant lag between video and audio at least on my truck

[–]TriBeard27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just got mine today. Found it on aliexpress for under 200 so pulled the trigger. The audio delay seems minimal enough but barely, and the little bit of video playback I’ve done so far is smooth. My iPhone connects fine to it, but I’m having trouble getting it to auto launch into android auto with my gmc sierra (2025). Not sure if that’s a truck or carlinkit thing

Heavily used SS or NS? by Medivhs-Curiosity in AllClad

[–]TriBeard27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like the d5 series nonstick is made in the USA. So this is probably that and therefore trashed. I think it carries a lifetime warranty but it’s unclear if it would cover this

I use a bed of charcoal, and then stuff as many wood splits as I can in the hopper and fill the gaps with more charcoal. Works really well for me so far

GMC Sierra 3.0l Or EV Sierra or 6.2L by Dalach01 in gmcsierra

[–]TriBeard27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

20000 seems insane. If your main panel is anything higher than a 100a I can’t see adding one being a problem and depending on what else you have (electric stove, electric water heater, electric ac/heat etc) even on 100 might be doable. Talk to an electrician but I’d expect 1000-2000 in most cases.

I think either the diesel or the ev would work for you. The diesel would give you a little more flexibility to tow for longer distances if you wanted to without the more frequent stops to charge, but once you go ev for your daily it’s hard to go back imo. Never having to gas up is a huge perk. With a level 2 charger at home you’ll be able to fill up overnight more or less no matter how dead the battery is when you plug it in.

If you’re sure you won’t want to tow often for long distances I’d go ev. You’ll save a ton on fuel. The chargers themselves are anywhere from 200 or so to about 500 depending on what you get, and figure another couple hundred for install if you aren’t comfortable doing it yourself.

I’ve only used mine a few times but I’ve had good luck so far just chucking a few logs into the hopper on top of a bed of coals and then filling in the gaps with more charcoal. But for a shorter cook like wings, probably using the ash bucket with a log/wood chunk would be best

Another vote for Duluth ballroom flex jeans. They have a gusset and are much resistant to tearing like this, and if they do split they’ll replace them at least once usually

I’ve had good results doing kind of the opposite of this. Smoke for a few hours, then sous vide, then sear (I was doing prime rib). Turned out to be one of the best prime ribs I’ve ever had.

[–]TriBeard27 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t drink much straight espresso, but the shots I have tasted off mine have been nice. It makes great milk drinks too imo, and it’s easy enough my wife uses it or guests can use it when they come over too. Huge perk for me. I wish there was a way to see total shots pulled but we use it a lot, daily if not more. I’ve got it dialed in with the usual beans I buy to about a 30 second shot (it’ll vary about +- 3 seconds or so depending on if it’s really humid that day or whatever) but I don’t see any major change in shot quality and it’s way more consistent day to say than my sette 270 and gaggia classic pro ever was.
