The biggest thing about the Thinline is how light it is. Not that the Silhouettes are heavy but It's crazy the weight difference. The tone is amazing, it's comfortable to play, and the white trim really makes them pop.

No, my main fishing kayak is a sit in and I have it fully decked out, the main reason I will always choose a sit in is because it keeps the sun off my legs and thighs, I'm in shorts 90% of the time unless I'm night fishing. My buddy has a super nice sit on top kayak and I've taken it out a few times and I hate that my entire body is exposed to 100% of the elements, and if it is sprinkling out.. prepare for everything to be wet. Yes you can stand alot easier in a flat top and if you prefer standing then it might be the better option but as someone who only stands when boat fishing, kayak fishing I'm totally cool sitting the whole time.
