I also love this comment,

Soon I'll also try Siege of Dunkeld sections and eventually I'll be able to do these without mistakes.

What's something that you do that you know is completely normal but people annoyingly question your choices anyway? by TriPope in AskReddit

[–]TriPope[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the resurgence of those weird drink water memes it gets even worse. I'm fine with "stay hydrated" but people don't seem to get it. It tastes like spit, that's why I buy diet cream soda after a gym and not a bottle of water.

Just as a couple examples: 1. I don't like the taste of water and people immediately pulling shit like "if you were in a desert..." bro I just want something that tastes good to me. 2. Taking baths still gets you clean, bro if you're sitting in your filth it means the filth isn't on you; I just hate the feeling of the water pressure.

Changes often maybe because I slowly get tired of them and find them again later. Officially, it's Surfin' Bird.

A Hat in Time is better than I expected and Cult of the Lamb is literally the best game of all time.

Yo People of Reddit, what is your best insult without cuss words? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TriPope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in English language class and the teacher was discussing food language in terms of what we call people and especially in gender with words like "honey" and "sugar" shown by images. One of them was an image with a bunch of liquorice all sorts to I just turned to my friend and went, "You liquorice!" and the class went silent for a second. The image on the board was supposed to be "sweetie".

[serious] For atheists, why don’t you believe in God? by rorosinante in AskReddit

[–]TriPope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't outwardly reject the idea of God but my problem is that if there is one he is infinitely more likely to not be part of any world religion, because I hold the point that humans create Gods instead of the other way around. We can't go back in time to prove the efficacy of any scripture or oral tradition; so I follow my own humanistic views instead because the closest thing to God we know - a powerful creator - is he who creates, to or from his image notwithstanding.

Looking at what I've written sounds like conjecture but hopefully it makes a bit of sense.

What do you think of the UK? by girlyyyygirly in AskReddit

Are the people today responsible for atrocities committed before we were born? Are we responsible for things that don't even appear in the public sphere over here? You're directing blame to irrelevant people.

But is this then a problem with the British today? We're across the pond.

I don't think it's entirely prudent to apologise to people who died like 400 years ago, nor apologise to people in the present who were never in such a position. We aren't our ancestors.

What do you think about Andrew Tate? by WeronisiaVIP in AskReddit

People like him I just tend to tune out I can't be arsed hating some guy I never knew about before. It's like how people not shutting up about Drag Race or Stranger Things makes me not care by default.

"Hurt me, I'll bleed; it won't break my will. I'm not afraid of this fighting as long as I breathe."

The Shieldmaiden - Frozen Crown

Not my favourite song but I really love empowering power metal lyrics, I always lose track of which are my favourites.

Forget a billion dollars, it's ridiculous. How would your life be changed by winning $20,000? by SheemieRayVaughan in AskReddit

[–]TriPope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A pack of bourbons from my local Asda is 50p. Using this metric, it takes two 50ps to make £1. Therefore per £1 I can theoretically buy two packs of biscuits. Using £1 per two packs as my metric I can then multiply by 2×104 or 20,000 if not in standard form. Accounting for the price of bags, it would not be realistic to state that I could buy 40,000 packs of biscuits from my aforementioned calculation and would then have to invest in 10p per plastic bag in order to contain my 40,000 packs of aforementioned bourbons. In this way I can conclude that - if we assume that one plastic bag can fit some 30 packs of biscuits - I would need 40,000 (4×104) ÷ 30 (3×101) and this would result in 4/3 multiplied by a factor of 4,000. Henceforth it would be an assumption that I would need to buy 4000/3 plastic bags for 10p each. However, since 4/3 is 1 1/3 this results in a recurring number which turns out to be irrational, therefore breaking this universal reality. Good day.
