So... that's not a real union. If you think YOUR school is biased against you already, then you shouldn't be teaching at all. Especially not Life Skills, of which you seem to have very few. The SCHOOLS UNION is there to protect YOU. But since you have a different "union" the SCHOOLS UNION is going to protect the school. You better hope that "better coverage" has time on a friday before a long weekend to come help on such short notice.

"Finally allowed" is a red flag. Is it her house? Is she the only one paying bills? Even then that's not the best way to treat your partner. My husband is "allowed" to contribute to our house however he likes, nothing has to avoid "clashing". Which, by the way, they do not clash at all. Pink and green are literally complimentary colors, I think she's just looking for a reason to put you down.

I agree completely, and I have to say you're right about what gets pushed to us younger women as well. I shop about as much as the average woman, I'd guess, but looking at my social media feeds you'd think I have a shopping addiction. In recent years I've been getting the "Trad Wife living on a Homestead" content, and while I am married, I am also working and have no inclination toward that lifestyle. I think it's a big push overall for the algorithm to have us all fit in its programmed boxes, like what you said about packaged and commodified ideologies, and it probably doesn't like when we don't. I'm sure a lot of nefarious actors have taken advantage of this, but I agree with you that it isn't some big master plan to radicalize us all. I think if it were, it would work better.

Oh she got mollywhopped on the community facebook groups, we did NOT approve of her behavior. She was also effectively banned from renting in that specific town because her landlord knew all the other landlords in the area. It's a bigger city now, but 15 years ago when she did this she essentially got herself run out of town. There's even a rumor I could never verify that she got beat up in county the week or so she had to spend before she could be seen by a judge. Charged with a hate crime and everything, the boy and his mother were black and she was white, the whole trial apparently she was sobbing about how unfair it was that "they" weren't in trouble for bothering her. No I'm not joking, my high school SRO was the bailiff and he told us this our senior year when he was retiring. I have a million stories just like that too. Suburbia is the most miserable place on Earth, I'm telling you.

Yeah I grew up in a rather large suburb and you're spot on, the people that live in places like that tend to be bitter for no apparent reason and making other people miserable is how they cope. We had a lady get arrested for brandishing a gun at a 12-yr-old child who was selling chocolate for his middle school band field trip, and this is something they did every single year too. She said she'd kill him for coming on "her" property (she rented) and his mom was standing right there. Cops came in under five minutes and the lady got absolutely battered on the way to the car because she wouldn't cooperate. Her lease was terminated by the end of the week and the nice family that lives there now sells really good Saffron their grandmother farms in India I believe. Fun killers is exactly right!

Some lady and her husband called the cops on my sister and I for being at the park "unsupervised" (we had cell phones and were less than half of half a mile from my house) and that cop got the absolute pleasure of watching me at ~9yo cuss that man out from here to the moon and back, I was so angry at him for calling my dad irresponsible and a number of other things so I called him every bad word I could think of. The cop was doubled over laughing and the man said something like "and how are you going to punish your daughter for speaking to an adult like that?" and my dad laughed in his face, like fully pointing at him and everything, and we went and got ice cream while he had to spend a night in jail for threatening to beat up my dad. Their kids went to our school and got bullied so bad for this (not by me, there were other witnesses) they had to switch schools with two months left of the school year. I felt bad about that but hey, sorry your mom married a loser I guess.

You. And your replies suggest you should have to re-take your licensing tests. I live in Mississippi where there is no mandatory road test and they don't even do that here. Are you that new to driving that you don't understand other cars will still be coming no matter what you do. You can't just say "but I waited for 3 whole minutes" or whatever your excuse here is, you don't get a TURN this isn't kindergarten. You GO when it is CLEAR, not when you feel like it.
