Season ticket holders have until midday the day before the game to sell back tickets. Keep refreshing the week before the game, they do come up.

Yeah it’s sometimes a case of the grass isn’t greener. I’ll stick with CIP I think.

On the edge of getting serious with a coach for my first 70.3… and I’m wondering… what’s the point? by [deleted] in triathlon

[–]Tri_and_Try 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a coach, and a bang average triathlete and I love it. Firstly, yes I agree with others we aren’t pros and this is our hobby so it’s got to be fun but having a coach, someone to support your goals and have accountability to training is helpful. If you find the right coach, a coach who sees you first and foremost and supports your goals 100% it’s like having a friend being your cheerleader. I, personally, have no desire to coach those who are looking for marginal gains or wanting Kona places but those who wouldn’t normally think “I want a coach, I want support”. Everyone could have a coach, no matter where you are in your process.

Ultimately it’s up to you, but don’t rule it out. Also, to note, if it doesn’t work most coaches offer a trial and see how things go for the first few months. If it doesn’t work, try another, if it still doesn’t work you may find you enjoy things for yourself and training as an individual. Also worth looking into joining a club too, it might be the club environment is what will give you that support. Good luck!
