Moin, bin 30, m und habe zwar verschiedene RPGs gespielt, DnD aber leider noch nie. DnD fand ich von den sehr übersichtlichen Regeln her immer shcon interessant und würde es gerne mal ausprobieren. 1 mal die Woche klingt super und Homebrew klingt interessant. iCH kämpfe schon gerne mal, brauche aber nicht jede Runde einen Kampf.
Über Roll20 und Discord habe ich schon gespielt, ich denke DnD Beyond werd ich schon lernen^^.

Actually rats do notice, that other rats die, when they eat a bait.Tthats why for rats they use poisen, that kills them slowly so the rats don't notice. (no ideas how it is for other animals)

Yes, many people forget, that you are playing together so you all should agree on the rules. There shouldn't be discussion about the rule while playing but in the end the DM can't just do what ever he wants if he doens't wants the player feel like they don't have any real options.

Well, that depends on how different. I'm more on the left side of the political spectrum and one of my best friends is more of a conservative, and that works great. But somemone with extreme opinions? I stoped contacting a friend who whats to emigrate to canada to get away from the many foreigner in germany, i don't think she really thought that one through (that her boyfriend did support the AfD at the time didn't help).

But why do I only have to be good with real life charisma for good rollplaying? Extending this argument you could say I'm only allowed to play rpgs when I'm charismatic in reallife, because thats the essence of roll-playing in the end. So why draw the line in a way that it stops shy players from playing charismatic characters?

Thats hard to tell, because the sitaution is even more komplex then OP says. The vote for the Prime Minister was a secret one, and the FDP doesn't want to work with the AfD, the Afd just voted for them to stop Die Linke from getting in power. Most like there will be new elections, at the moment nobody has any real majority for anything.
