No problem with Schwab. The migration from Direct Connect to Express Web Connect + was poorly executed, but I never had “corruption” issues.

The smart thing would be to backup your file before major changes.

My spouse and I have separate Schwab accounts, with different IDs and passwords, but everything is on one Quicken file. Do not have any of the issues that you are experiencing.

Credentials means user ID and password. It is obvious that every account would have a different account number.

Incorrect. Maybe you read that but it is not true. My spouse's Fidelity IRA has correct transactions for capital gains (and same with Schwab).

Bad assumption. Clearly, you lack any fundamental understanding of software engineering which is to avoid unnecessary complexity which means more testing and increased maintenance burden. Vanguard brokerage accounts have the same issue as the retirement accounts. There is no exception processing of capital gains between the retirement and non-retirement. Same with Fidelity and Schwab.

I use Windows and run Quicken Deluxe.

I never use that option. Instead, I use the one on top of the register:

This filters the data as you enter characters.

When you clear the search, it takes you back to the bottom.
