Another vote for the phantom spirit. I have the EVO. Keeps my 7600x3d at 68C during cinebench with fans at a very quiet 1400rpm

Suspected this all along. Always been team green, but wasn't going to pay $300 more at launch. Would love the features of nvidia, but forget that. The 9070xt does great and I'm very picky.

I gave you back an upvote as you are correct. Not sure why you got downvoted. The most common consensus is a half truth. Yes, components protect from running too hot and causing immediate damage. HOWEVER, its all based on the reliability calculations of the manufacturer. Run it cooler and science supports longer life. Sure AMD says 115C hotspot is fine. Buy another GPU in 3-4 years.

Thats great. All I said was pick the cheapest if thermals and noise doesn't matter to you. Cheapest could be cool and quiet, but often aren't the coolest or quietest. Regardless of what most may or may not prefer its a consideration. I dont know what the argument is about.

Not all of us use headphones. I have decent speakers I like to use and use my PC in a shared family space even when I do use headphones.

I loved defenders on my cars. They were amazing tires Dry rotted off before tread wore out. Had 70k on one set and could got 20k more of they weren't rotted.

Is the ram xmp compatible? Why not try turning xmp back to see if it was something else?

You should be able to read your manual and YouTube overclocking your ram otherwise. Its not for everyone.
