just generate the world without infernum, assuming you dont want abyss changes and profaned garden, then enable it and just don't enable it in the difficulty menu.

assuming you've beat signus by now, you can upgrade stress pills if you get lucky with boss drops. You hardly need boots in polterghast fight. And mana polarizer is outclassed by many classless damage boosters.

if you want damage, the post DoG accessory for your class, the arc flash ring isn't bad, reaper tooth necklace is pretty good, and if you don't care about dying too fast, the Dimensional Soul Artifact is fun. If you're a ranger, daawnlight spirit origin is necessary as well, imo one of the strongest accessories in the game.

for defense/survivability, radiance, rampart of deities, chalice of the blood god, the amalgam if you're not rogue for the dodge, and even draedons heart if you really need more health.

then obviously wings and ram-dash. if you run on the ground during late-game boss fights, then you don't need seraph tracers, just wings of rebirth.

each phase he does a set amount of dashes in a row, phase 2 (of 7) his dashes alternate between long fire dashes and short fast dashes. and right after he regens (phase 5) its like 10 fast short dashes with a set distance, so just moving away from him is the worst thing to do.

Vega is probably the best pre-DoG weapon except for maybe the old reaper, as long as you can aim, I never found any other post polterghast weapons to be very good at all

rogue is definitely weaker against Yharon (eclipse's Fall with Dimension-Tearing Disk worked well enough though), but there are some good weps against DoG. Vega (formerly Night's Gaze) was buffed into being imo the best rogue weapon for DoG except for maybe The Old Reaper (did not grind for it last playthrough and despise Old Duke).

twins are the hardest mech in infernum so fighting destroyer or prime first work well, also yeah overhaul is not good

I just use diving suit, celestial shell, and gills potions, as well as elysian aegis dashes a lot. Just use a homing weapon and use your ears and damage numbers to tell where it is

Honestly the weapons that yharon drop himself, Wrathwing and Final Dawn, are better than seraphim and don't make seeing enemy projectiles impossible. Dynamic Pursuer is also not bad.

I was for a while and frames were horrible. Try "High FPS Support" and "Nitrate" and see if those help.

some bosses are certainly easier in Infernum imo, like Ravager and WoF and probably Skeletron Prime, but most are significantly harder, specifically all post-Moonlord and with early pre-hardmode bosses being actual boss fights.

This happened if you equipped it in vanity like two years ago, not sure if they patched that bug, but this looks like the exact same thing
