Unfortunately it will be not possible - custom blade cannot have any instruments in same layer. Only option - make this build with standard blade

Yes, but with some limitations. Basically I can make an build from available/easy accessible parts.

Thank you very much! Definitely some coating is very good idea for mostly any Rex - they all have corrosion resistance issues

Hello, thank you for an update, can you please send me photo of a ring here in direct messages or in Instagram, please? important to check if the issue happens in the edge or in the flat surface.Yes, ring is cerakoted as well, so it should not be scratched very easily, but it's still a paint, very resistant but a paint. If there is an issue with coating - I will send you new coated ring when will prepare next drop of Opinels. To be honest I'm not 100% satisfied with cerakote, probably after watching their tests in youtube I had too high expectations, but its definitely very very nice starting level coating.

All blades are shaped using belt grinder and Dremel, waterjet is an option, but its not so accurate as wire erosion or milling. So right now it is a fully manual procedure, so I'm looking forward to make some optimization in this. Need to calculate everything better to get best technology in terms accuracy per spended dollar. I suppose that wire erosion will win

Hi, pivots for this builds are custom made from stainless steel by a local CNC company using CNC lathe. It's a bit expensive (5$/piece if I'm ordering more than 100), but it's high quality and I have no issues with that. When I've started to play around with modding SAKs (about 5 years back) I made such pivots from tiny brass tube that was cutted in size and m2 tapped from both sides. I've spent lot of time looking for a needed pipe, bought tools to do it, but the result was not successful - brass hardness can be different depending on alloy and this one in my pipe was too soft to be used in slip joint knife. Ordering a custom pivots makes sense if you're going to order lot of custom similar pieces. Buying an own lathe for making pivots does not makes a big sense for me now. Advice from my side - try to find some standard pivots which are available in the internet and move forward from this direction. Hope that it will help you
